I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can't express enough how exceptional the lamb karahi and garlic naan were. In fact, they were the best I've ever had in my life. The flavors were out of this world, and the tenderness of the lamb was perfection.
What truly set this dining experience apart, though, was the outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable, and their attentiveness was unparalleled. The restaurant's atmosphere only added to the delight of the evening; it was truly amazing.
I can't emphasize enough how thrilled I am with all aspects of this restaurant and my meal. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience, don't hesitate to visit. This place has certainly left me beaming with happiness.
We had a school reunion and sat upstairs on the platform built for sitting on the ground. The starters and the main course were amazing. I love when a mixed grill is cooked well, and right.
But the Karahi dishes were exceptional.
We did have a full lamb, but honestly struggled to eat it after all that :)

Food is good and delicious.
Service is very slow especially on a Friday or a Saturday late evening. I know that these are busy peak times but given the number of staff that work there, the communication between them is poor. You could be calling them an hour and a half before you the time you plan to eat there and an hour and half later...you still be waiting for another 20 minutes...that's if you press them and make it known that you actually placed your order 1.5 hours ago.
Service wise, apart from one gentleman at the counter taking your order or your money with a smile, the rest of the staff need to learn provide a service with a smile...makes all the difference.
Oh....don't order their Sheesh Kebab....it is full of dough. ..fake meat...of you know what I mean.
The seating is very tight and claustrophobic....the place does need a great deal of improvement both downstairs and upstairs...
At present, it feels like you are eating at roadside cafe abroad....
Some nice seating, dim atmospheric lighting with the touch of a Professional interior designer would make a massive difference.
All being said....as mentioned before, the food is very nice...IMO - they just need to make improvements and teach staff to smile and also workout a streamline way of speeding up orders whilst not compromising on the good food that they are already serving.
Twice now for me and was wondering if the food could be this good again. It was. Great no nonsense canteen style with fabulous fresh food. The Sheek kebabs are the best I have had. The chicken or lamb Karahi is outstanding. Karak Chai to finish. Great work Murrys, you set the bar high 🤲👍

Food is delicious but service is not on time. Soup before the dinner was hot and worth having as an appetite. Desi Tea at the end of food was icing on the cake.

Fast efficient polite service. Table was cleared and cleaned as we waited. Food arrived fresh and hot. Tasted amazing.

This was my very 1st visit to Murry Takeaway, after hearing all the hype and feedback from friends about how good it actually is. I must say from the friendliness of staff, to the the Mix grill starter to the Main lamb karahi taste was spot on. The Chappatti was soft and hot, with the amount of lamb karahi portion was not only fit for 5 it could have made room for a 6th person.
I must say I was well impressed and will definitely recommend to others and will definitely be going back
