Been here a couple of times. Staff are always friendly. The food is very good as well as fairly cheap. Will be back!

Our carvery was gorgeous today! Didn't have to wait, got served straight away. Everything was cooked to perfection, lovely array of veg and tasty, tender meat. The Yorkshires and gravy are amongst the best we've had. 4 empty plates and 4 happy, stuffed customers! Looking forward to next time...
Lovely place, friendly staff, great views sat outside looking over to the hills. We have visited four times so far and the carvery is always tasty but each time it is missing green veg (peas or brocolli) leeks in white sauce is the greenest they do.
The best roast beef, turkey, gammon and yorkshire pudding and veg I have ever tasted. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal. Mum and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The place is spotlessly clean and staff fantastic. Thank you so much Donna and the team. We will be back soon!! Xx
I was here on tuesday afternoon with work for a 3 course meal and it was excellent. The food was very good, and the staff were brilliant considering the number of people they had to cater to. Great carvery, I won't go anywhere else now. Staff are spot on, very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this carvery to anyone who wants a hot fresh carvery in a welcoming atmosphere.
impeccable service from the management team, if you want to be treated like family, I highly recommend the royal oak, they treated myself my wife and our dog bella wonderfully. Carvery spot on and a great pint of guiness poured perfect

Was staying close by and dropped in to try the carvery, was so good I went back again a week later! Can definitely recommend, good polite and quick service, plenty of parking, nice atmosphere and not too noisy, plenty of tables and seating and food was amazing!
Staff were lovely. The food was gorgeous. Sat outside in the sunshine with a fantastic view of Rivington. First time here, it wont be the last.
