Tim Hortons

This Tim's is a community hub. It's not just a drive-through. Locals come to meet with friends. I saw touring motorcyclists outside enjoying a coffee break. And it's easy for local kids to get to and have a place to meet up with friends. That said the lineup was a little long, but the people in line were friendly so the time passed easily. Washroom could use an update. It doesn't seem up to what I'd expect at a Tim's.

As an ex-Tim Horton's employee every time I visit the downtown location I am constantly disappointed. I have started actively avoiding it and will visit the uptown location even if it is out of my way. They continuously mess up orders, The staff have been rude multiple times for no reason and anytime I try to bypass the 10-20 minute drive through wait by going inside it is no better. I have had multiple times where I was the only person in line and wouldn't get my order taken for 5+ minutes. Often after waiting 5 minutes I will just order it on the app because at least my order is "taken" in a sense. Mind you many of these times its not a matter of being busy, half the staff is just standing around looking bored. I used to work up town and this behavior would never fly up there. Jen was amazing at keeping everybody on track and keeping the customers satisfied and always making sure somebody is actively taking walk in orders. I think the downtown location would greatly benefit from a week with Jen overseeing things.

Worst tim hortons I’ve ever visted. Went thru the drive thru. The man taking our order was rude and didn’t even let us finish ordering before telling us the amount. We had to tell him to give us a moment since we are not finished ordering. We had relatives in our car from the US that needed a bit more time to decide given they were not familiar with the menu. Ordered chocolate Timbits for the kids and even that was given to us in a paper bag with the oil completely soaking thru. We had to ask for a second bag so that their clothes wouldn’t get dirty. Even after all this, they still screwed up on 4 out of the 5 orders placed. Worst experience ever for all of us. Will never recommend this place to anyone ever again. I wish I could give this place zero stars.
