Consistently great food and very quick delivery, the special chowmein is always a winner and loaded with a good variety of meat and King prawns with thin noodles too
Hi all, posting a new review about the Canton Chinese, I had to stop getting food from here as the quality of the food went DOWN dramatically, this was before the Covid pandemic hit us. My favourite meal was 4 spiced an salted ribs, fried rice, an a chicken curry. Well three of the ribs were burnt nearly black, the curry looked like it was floating in castrol GTX. The rice was OK. So I decided that would be my last meal from the Canton. Never been in the premises in 3years. I now cook my own chicken curry for less than i payed the Canton to spoil my Β£15 pound meal. So 3yrs ago i was giving them Β£780 a year, now they are getting Nowt.
Lovely food. Especially if it's too late to cook! Worth a try or change.
Just had crispy shredded chicken in honey and chilli sauce, amazing, so crispy .......don't usually like Chinese but hubby does, glad I tried it π

Every time I order something out of Canton whether it be chicken fried rice or sweet n sour chicken itβs never a disappointment. Foodβs always delicious. ππππ»ππ»
Lovely chap served me and great food asked for the curry extra hot and it certainly was just as i like it .
We've used these guys for Chinese takeaway food ever since moving to the area 15 years ago. Excellent food, prices and service.
This is this best Chinese take away in Midlothian. We have had so many friend and family visit us from all over Britain who say it's much better than their Chinese.
