A great pub which is run by a friendly old hippy. Really unique place which now far an few between
Popped in here with my wife and kids one evening while staying at a nearby caravan park. We found it to be a very welcoming traditional pub; the log fire gave it a cosy feel and the beer was good. The chap behind the bar (I'm sorry, we didn't get your name) was really friendly and chatty, and he kin
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, open until 3am and they offered to stay open longer if we wanted, overall a great night. Men's toilets are filled with messages written by customers which the staff encourage. There is also a ping pong table, a piano, and a cat!
Great pub, welcomed our rowdy group of 18 students with open arms and even bought drinks in specially for us. Didn't complain at the noisy ping pong games late into the night.. will definitely be back
What a fantastic pub!!..popped in to the antique rooms upstairs to have a look around..weird and wonderful to be sure..with lots to see. Then had a look around the pub downstairs which was very quirky and the kinda place I would love to spend the evening playing guitar in. Having talked to the landl
Great pub, amazing atmosphere. I called in for a drink on a Monday night and ended up chatting to the regulars for a good few hours. Love the place.
The cellar has had a make over - so new coolers, pipes and a fresh range of beers. Clive and Amy are now managing the bar so pop in and give them the thumbs up 👍
Strange little pub below an antique shop. Both great to visit, good beers in the pub, unique items upstairs, we always stop here for a pint or two before we walk along the beach
Lovely little Aladinn's Cave of a pub chock full of conversation pieces and a top table tennis table out the back. Good beer and good company. Late night too.
Lovely friendly proper pub.
Beautiful original pub. It has a whole lot of charm and character. Antique shop upstairs too which was very interesting.
excellent meal for three friday night 17 April, setting now superbly upgraded from the old Victoria. Mistake I made was to first have an excellent but too filling starter, which resulted in being unable to finish excellent lamb cutlet and accompanying tasty vegetables! Our family will have owned
