The Napoleon Inn - Boscastle - Photo album

Lovely country pub, quirky layout with a very modern contemporary menu. The lady working this evening was very knowledgeable about the menu, and following her advice, I had a really lovely aubergine dish. Well worth a visit.
Great pub serving tasty meals. Really impressed with the gluten free approach to cooking: Best gluten free fish and chips ever. A local band was jamming in the back room which really added to the atmosphere. Great evening had by all. We will definitely be back. It is a shame the Napoleon is a t
A great pub with nice people, you can eat well, the beer is tasty and if you're lucky the Boscastle Buoys will sing (that's actually their name) and bring a great atmosphere to the Napoleon Inn.
Not your normal pub grub....this was really tasty, different and local food cooked perfectly. Gins on the optics too! Shared a pudding....just couldn't resist having something. Staff were very friendly. Nice local pub, very busy and worth the half hour it took to find a parking space close by! Defi
Food is out of this world. Very special. Always a warm welcome even if it's busy. Lovely building. Cornish male voices on a Weds eve too. Sunday roast and local fish highly recommended. Great bar/drinks selection to. Thanks guys
Had probably the best Sunday roast ever eaten here yesterday - the Yorkshire Puddings were sublime (high praise indeed from a Yorkshire man!!!) and everything beautifully cooked and presented
Lovely pub located on the top of Boscastle Village, in close proximity to the St Nectans Waterfall. Me and my partner went last week to have lunch, the staff are very friendly and kind. The food was also very nice, I have to say that I never eat the chips when I order a meal that comes with it, I no
Lovely meal with lots of interesting choices. Much better than ordinary pub food. The lemon posset was superb. The staff member who was on holiday was lovely
Incredible food (great vegetarian options) friendly staff and cosy interior in keeping with it’s 16th century origin. One thing I would mention is our first experience of the pub as we opened the front door was walking in past the toilets which were quite smelly. Some of the best food we’ve had duri
Nice pub, good food just over priced
Lovely pub situated in top of Boscastle village. The pub is divided into a number of rooms and there are 3 outdoor seating areas. Great selection of real ales which are served straight from the cask and taste superb. There is a good selection of food available on the menu and there is a daily specia
If you’re deciding on which pub to go to in Boscastle, look no further. Popped in for a pint the other day and everything from the atmosphere to the customer service was amazing. So much better than the Cobweb. As a local, I definitely recommend!
Stumbled across this beautiful little pub on our way back to Polperro and decided to have dinner. Firstly hats off to the barmaid/waitress who greeted us warmly and provided us with excellent service. The food was cooked to perfection, everything was cooked fresh to order, seasoned and cooked to per
If Jesus had a local it’d be this one and if he had a brother it would be the lovely big fella that works at the bar. Food was amazing - we tried the summer menu, music was great, atmosphere was 10/10 best pub in Boscastle !!!!
Very much the out of the way locals pub. Nice people but felt we had paid over the odds for our drinks. Only went twice and second time our pints were dearer.
We've been there three times in three days during our last holidays. The first time was merely to try it as we didn't know where else to go, the second time was because we liked it so much, the third time because we wanted to try the sunday roast as well. Both staff and owner were very friendly, hel
Friendly local. Good selection of ales. The food looked good and hearty but we only stopped for a drink. Spacious bar areas holding rustic furnishings and flagstones along with the solid walls and open fire make for a welcome rest stop when walking and exploring the area.
Absolutely loved this place. They were very busy on a bank holiday Sunday but still managed to fit us in and make us feel most accommodated. The steak was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. And our desert was a delight. Would highly recommend this pub to everyone!
Steve gave us a huge warm welcome and really set the tone for the rest of our trip. I cannot praise him enough for being such a happy helpful person and generally being an awesome human. Food was delicious and the malbec was to die for. If you don't go for food, go to meet Steve, he's a legend!
