They serve Kelly's Ice Creams which are amazing! We had single scoop iceams with a fudge flake for just £2.50 each. Great value. Take contactless payment. Lovely cafe and friendly staff.

Really helpful and friendly staff kindly delayed closing so that we could have drinks and cake. Great coffee and slightly end-of-day Victoria sponge.

Super National Trust place with cafe and shop , with a area to one side showing a video of the flood of 2004 and the damage it did to the village. Lovely walk to the end over looking the sea .

I was here yesterday with my partner and (French) bulldog and I have to say, the two girls serving (21/9/21) were two of the nicest people we have met whilst being on holiday in Cornwall and Devon , they gave my dog treats and were taking time out to chat, even though they were rushed off of their feet They are a real asset to the company

Only popped in for coffee and a hot chocolate but both were served in generous sized mugs. Comfortable seating and friendly staff.

Fell into this place after a long walk from Crackington Haven on a very hot day! We felt much better after a lovely big sandwich each and some drinks! Staff were friendly and helpful and there's a water cooler where you can fill your bottle up for free - this is really great for walkers ☺ The attached shop is great and there's a help point where we got bus timetables etc.

Friendly staff who instructed me kindly but firmly in the correct method of cream tea scone construction (not sure but think may have been escorted to the border if had not applied jam first..) They had run out of a few things which surprised me for NT tea room but overall v nice

The cafe was open for take away only which was a shame as we were looking forward to having lunch there . Apparently it was shut due to toitet being out of action and was reported to there head office . From the comments of people also looking forward to having lunch there they were disappointed also . Hopefully the cafe will be open soon for people to enjoy again .

National trust cafes are always good quality products. often not that well run. queues and quite high prices. but nevertheless nearly always worth the wait.
