Nice restaurant, well maintained and not grubby like some busy restaurants can be. Food was good but not spectacular, just good gastro pub fare.
Beer was served in a proper beer jug, which is a nice touch.
Price was very reasonable. Just over £110 for 5 mains and drinks. Service was initially very good but we were left waiting after our plates were cleared. Otherwise no complaints and we would return again.
Had an absolutely lovely Sunday roast here, was served and greeted by Shelia who gave nothing but great service. Very fast for the food to be brought out and lovely alcoholic drinks also served quickly. Shelia was a joy and would definitely be coming back to experience the great food and service again.
Great menu and the skewers were very tasty and loved the pavalova! Bit disappointed with drinks as there was a wide menu but so many not available including some of the summer specials. It would have been better if this was communicated first or marked on the menus.
Such a lovely pub! Stopped here on our way back from Fishbourne for drinks and a bite to eat...and very glad that we did. We were acknowledged and greeted as soon as we came through the door and chose to sit outside as the weather was warm and sunny. It wasn't busy on a Monday lunchtime so finding a table was easy. Pleasant garden area, probably the only slightly negative thing is that the pub is on a main road, but everything else was just lovely. Friendly attentive staff. We ordered a couple of starters, a soft drink and a fabulous cocktail. Smoked mackerel paté and duck and orange parfait, both with sourdough toast, were duly served. The food was very nicely presented and very tasty. I can definitely recommend the passion fruit martini too! The menu has a great deal to offer and is definitely a few steps up from standard pub grub, so we'll be back for dinner soon.

Our first venture in since the new menu was introduced. A warm welcome from Brian who showed us to our table put us at our ease. He explained she that would be over to take our drinks order, and Sophie would be looking after us throughout our meal. we have a difficult time choosing from the menu as it had all our favourites. We picked the creamy mushrooms and the duck and orange pâté for our starters. I was going to have a roast, as it sounded delicious, but I was tempted away by the sharing platter of prawns, sticky chicken, lamb koftas with humus, tzatziki and flatbread. The food duly arrived, beautifully presented with pretty edible flowers. The pâté was smooth and tasty, and the toasted bread with it was delicious. The button mushrooms were in a rich creamy buttery sauce on a slice of toast.
Main courses were a triumph, brought to the table by Tom, a very pleasant young man : roast sirloin of beef, a trio with beef pork and turkey accompanied by all the trimmings, and my mixed platter.Every single element was perfect from Yorkshire puddings and bacon-wrapped stuffing, to the al dente broccoli, French beans, roasted parsnips carrots and potatoes, and cauliflower cheese. All irresistible and cooked to perfection, compliments to Joe, the chef.
We had a breather with a coffee, then forced ourselves to choose a pudding, a tricky task as they were all so tempting, and we plumped for strawberry trifle ( with extra custard and raspberry sorbet - I loved Sophie, she didn’t say no to anything! ) double chocolate brownie, and the phenomenal mango pavlova, the prettiest dessert I’d ever seen. Happily they all exceeded our expectations with their tastes and flavours. The pink and white swirled meringue in the pavlova was flavoured with a zingy fruity flavour which was a delicious surprise to me, and the best meringue I’ve ever had.
Overall, we were delighted with our visit, and we’ve rebooked for next week already.
Our server, Sheila, was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly staff and really great food. Relaxed atmosphere but smart enough for celebrations and occasions.
The new Honey Pot desert was not worth the high price.
Sadly, we sat next to a window with a thick cobweb and dead creatures in it. Real shame, as the rest was great.
Came back on the train from Horsham and decided we didn’t want to cook,so decided to go to the Bosham Inn. Had a 50% off voucher. The food was superb!!. Two mains and two drinks £25. 👌
A return visit for my birthday, again another 50% off voucher. Another faultless meal and great service from Sophie. This place serves consistent food and will be back with another review.
What a lovely roast we had here. The best roast I’ve had out. Thank you so much for the lovely food.
We wanted a quick lunch and we got good service. I had a fish finger on grainy bread with fries and my husband gammon, eggs and triple fried chips. Very tasty.
Lovely Sunday roast, had the pork followed by the crumble (both delicious)- Sheila was a lovely host, very good communication and speedy service with a smile! Am looking forward to coming back again soon!
