Better Bagels

Lives up to the name - for sure one of the better bagels in Boston. The bagels themselves have a great bite, and the texture and airiness are great and remind me of bagels you’d find in NYC. The cream cheese is very flavorful, but can get messy because they give you such a large amount. I’ve tried requesting light cream cheese and they still overload the bagels to the point that it drips off. For my money, the onion bagel with garlic scallion cream cheese is the best they have and a top 5 bagel in Boston. The store can get pretty busy, and the tiny storefront area doesn’t help. Placing a pickup order is the best way to avoid waiting in the small store while still getting a warm, fresh bagel.

Best at its best. I wanted to visit this place for a while and all I can say is that I was in heaven, I mean if there is a heaven it has to have cream cheese and better beagles. Try any flavor but onion is the bomb. I will visit this place again and I hope soon. The coffee and service was amazing by the way. Papi’s favorite in Boston

Didn’t know of this place till I got a job in the seaport. Nice bagels crisp on the outside but soft on the inside. So many options compared to chain places. Haven’t tried any sandwich’s but bagels and cream cheese are great. Glad they have a variety of drinks as I don’t drink coffee or tea. So hot chocolate for the win! Always busy even early in the morning.

Great bagels. They have egg and egg everything bagels which alone could get me to leave a five star review but they taste great as well. Some reviews on here complaining about the amount of cream cheese on the bagels have obviously never been to NY. If cream cheese isn’t pouring out the side of the bagel there’s not enough cream cheese on it. You want a thin smear of spread on a bagel? Go to Dunkin’. You want a bagel with the proper over indulgence of cream cheese on it? Go to Better Bagels.

4.5 stars....aptly nammed. Better than any other bagel within Boston. I think it's Montreal style- very lovely almost sourdough flavor with an airy & fluffy interior and a sturdy crispy exterior. This is quite different than the Jewish bagelries in Boston which tend to be breadier. Loved it overall ! I got my everything bagel scooped with veg cc. Wish they had jalapeno cc tho...Would add another star if they did! Either way, will def be coming back.

awesome little space! no room to sit and enjoy, but plenty of spaces in the area to grab your food and sit and eat. you order your food, wait outside and they'll bring it out to you. Staff was friendly and helpful to us and the place was never dead... either people coming and going or an actual line the few times we walked by. I'm glad we found this one... super yummy!
