Cafe Brasil Bakery in Allston is a delightful discovery for cheese bread enthusiasts. Their cheese bread is simply fantastic—warm, flavorful, and truly satisfying. The bakery offers a cozy atmosphere, and the focus on delivering great-tasting cheese bread makes it a must-visit for those craving a delicious and authentic experience.

I was intrigued to see a Brazilian bakery when looking for a place for dessert after lunch in Allston. I love a good pao de queijo so I decided to give it a try. They have a pretty wide selection of pastries and breads, though there were no prices listed so I had to ask for the prices. The pao de queijo were 50 cents each, so I got 6. I also got a chicken sfiha and a guava turnover. The pao de queijo (50c/ea) were pretty good, and definitely a reasonable price. They are pretty small and irregular in size/shape. They were a bit stale and hard/dry, but were revived pretty well in an air fryer at home. They had a good subtle cheese flavor and had a lot of holes inside. Assuming they do make them daily, I think they probably taste great if you go early in the morning. Overall I would probably consider getting them again when I'm in the area. Not the best I've had, but it's hard to beat 50 cents. The chicken sfiha ($5.65) was quite substantial with a thick bread layer and a dense chicken filling. I liked the flavor of the chicken -- there was a strong garlic flavor and it was nicely savory. It was all a bit dry and dense but filling and well-flavored. The guava turnover ($3.90) was basically a strip of guava jam inside of puff pastry with some sweet crackly stuff on top. This was also pretty good reheated in the air fryer. My friend also got a guava turnover that had very little jam, so it may be inconsistent. Overall I enjoyed trying a variety of their pastries. Nothing was amazing but everything was solid and the pao de queijo were especially good value. I'm glad I tried this place and will certainly keep it in mind for future Allston visits!

Hour to close, probably their last batch of the day I bought two coxinhas and they were absolutely delicious and smooth textures, not too oily I wish I came early enough to get some catupiry ones, I bet those would have been even better

I'd only every ordered delivery from here on Doordash, but I finally went there in person and I'm so glad I did! The cake bowls are a must-try. They are delicious, moist and best of all, not too sugary. The baked goods are fresh, made daily, and the cheese bread is light and airy. The staff are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting more often.

so the day after my 28th birthday I was so hungover I felt like my soul was going to leave my body. I owe my continued existence to you, Cafe Brazil. Thanks to your delicious, savory hamburger on a generous loaf of sweet bread, I was revitalized. Your food sopped up the alcohol and allowed me to live again. You're my best friend, Cafe Brazil and dang it, I love you. We salute you.
