Lovely , stopped by because our usual chippy was on holiday , wandered in , cheerfully greeted , made my order and while I was waiting a gentleman came in and ordered a cone of chips, they didn't have any so one of the ladies made one , so a cone of chips was produced . If the service is like that I'll be back . The chips and everything with them was very good . Worth going . Sharpen your teeth and give it a go . Since then I've been back with my partner several times , always welcome , always receive good fish and chips and always get involved in good banter . Hard working staff obviously appreciated by their customers. Update . I've just been to the sutteron chippy and the problems they are best by are not easy to work around . But they are , and though a bit tight lipped, are working to their usual high standard . The proprietor is working under a particular problem , the chip making equipment is on the fritz , but they have people hand cutting chips and , the service is still good and worth every penny . Don't muck about reading this bilge , check the opening times and go there . You'll not waste your time . Be nice . Take your best teeth .
