We celebrated my sister’s and brother-in-law’s 50th anniversary at this gem of a restaurant! There were 5 of us, and we each had something different. I had the seared bluefish with plantains and spicy cucumber chow - the fish was broiled to perfection, and the plantains were piquant, in fact everything I ate was delicious! We shared three different dessert cakes, including lemon crunch, blueberry, and chocolate cake with chocolate icing - each one a masterpiece! The service is excellent, the staff, warm and friendly. The amazing chef Petal Joseph-Seale stopped at our table, and we met the talented creator of our dinner. She’s from Trinidad and Brooklyn, and brings a wide influence of cuisines and experience to the table. She is truly a treasure with her inspired cooking. Don’t miss a chance to enjoy a memorable meal at this fantastic restaurant!

Food and drinks were absolutely delicious!! The chef puts a stunning twist to each one of her menu items and they are incredible. I order salmon pretty regularly at restaurants but the salmon dish here was PHENOMENAL. Skin was crispy and the sweet potato/watercress salad was delightful. Such a fantastic dish I didn’t take a photo until after I started eating. Other amazing dishes we tried include the sweet & soy wings, roasted shrimp w/ garlic brown butter, and the Lime burger. Favorite drinks so far are Lime Cosmo, Lemondrop, and the mead options! The cocktails all taste great so you can’t go wrong. I’ve been twice already and can’t wait to go again!

My partner and I have been itching to try this place for a few months and are SO glad we did. All of the food was incredible, with unique blends of flavors. We had the salmon and daily catch special and both blew us away with their creativity and presentation. The waitstaff was extremely kind and helpful!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at Lime. From start to finish, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was just absolutely full of flavor. We cannot wait to return and have already recommended the restaurant to our friends and family. Thank you!

Were there last night. Dishes are tasty for sure. This place is new, since April. Chef is the owner. Roasted shrimp is nicely in the olive oil bath. Few comments/suggestions: 1. It would be nice to reduce the wait time after the order is placed, once the business picks up. 2. Hen is a bit on the dry side 3. The sauce from dishes was tasty too but we didn't have anything to go with it. So it would be nice to have bread, rice, or noodles to go with the dishes.

I tried Lime a couple of days ago when my friend came to visit. We both loved it so much we returned the following evening with another friend. It's tucked away in an obscure part of the Chelsea waterfront, but don't miss this place! The food is extraordinary, prepared with great care and attention to detail. The sweet potato gnocchi is beyond amazing and the chocolate mousse is the best I've ever had. The service couldn't have been friendlier. Get there quick, before the whole world discovers this place.

Beautiful space with welcoming staff. The menu is filled with the familiar and the new. The wings are a symphony of flavor and the lime burger could easily be at home at an expensive steak house. Like steak on a bun. Great wine list with some interesting wines you won’t find elsewhere in the neighborhood. They even have mead. The cocktail list was a real surprise. Excellent selection of spirits and thoughtfully designed cocktails. Lime is definitely going to be a place I go to regularly!

Lime gets my flavortown award 🏆! Each dish was just incredible. You can tell the menu was well thought out. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors bold. I recommend trying as many things off the menu. The wings were my favorite and the seared tofu a must try. Definitely worth a visit.

Ha! Shrimp and feta?! Order it! Just order it twice! 🤯 so so so unique and delicious, as everything else on the menu ! Great job! This place deserves much more attention and respect! I hope you guys will start being crowded soon! *the atmosphere though was nah… music should be better, like much better 😅 and with cool music and darker lights, this place could get a much better vibe

Are you kidding me!?? YOU WANT uMaMI goodness.... get the chicken.... Ask for a spoon. With an Allagash.... stellar pairing as.l the flavors warm your soul. You'll know once you look at a fellow diners plate! Excellent service but moreso the hospitality. A robot could give service I highly Dien they've programmed Ai with genuine hospitality.... so they're is still time left!!!! Go out and eat!!! I wish I took a pic of the plating and use of the thigh. It's like taking light meat and dark meat Slapping them together and adding a drumstick without a gristle. Mmmmmmm....

"To 'Lime' in Trinidad is to spend time, play and eat with family and friends, to appreciate your surroundings and ties and to celebrate life." The quote above is taken from Lime Chelsea, a wonderful addition to the Chelsea waterfront neighborhood dining scene! Petal Joseph, owner and executive chief, has created an upscale delectable international fusion menu rooted in flavors from Trinidad that truly delights and satisfies. For course 1 my partner and I ordered the potato crips and spicy tofu vegetable soup, both of which were excellent. Course two included the Curry Cauliflower and Chana, Uncle Andrew Salad and Basmati Rice as well as the Seared Tofu, Balsamic Onion, Carrots, Radish and Greens. Both were elegantly presented, at perfect temperature and utterly delicious! I still find myself daydreaming about the taste of the Seared Tofu two days latter! We rounded off our dinner with mango sorbet and chocolate mousse, which were the ideal concluding taste notes to what was an overall Chelsea Lime symphony of palate, presentation, ambiance and service! We left filled, but with no leftovers. Portion sizes are reasonable, but not excessive. Their bar is also notable, with a thoughtfully curated wine, cocktail and specialty drink menu. In short, Lime Chelsea is a one-of-a-kind upscale neighborhood restaurant. All dishes are handmade and high quality ingredients, which was evident from our dining experience. While we imagine Lime Chelsea will become a regular destination for local residents, it is also a destination dining experience worthy of a commute or drive. Parking is available on Winnisimmet St as well as Broadway in Chelsea, MA. There are also public lots beneath the Tobin bridge within a 2.5 block walking distance to Lime Chelsea. If you are looking for a new restaurant to try we highly recommend Lime Chelsea--it will surely live up to it's namesake!

It is so nice to see new restaurants pop up in Chelsea, and we really loved our experience at Lime! The atmosphere and service were fantastic. I ordered the cornish hen with polenta and it was perfectly tender and seasoned. Will definitely return to this new Chelsea hotspot!

Great menu, beautifully presented dishes of perfectly cooked food. Wonderful service, friendly staff. The seared scallops on an exceptional arugula salad was the perfect meal for a scorching hot day. Nice wine selection too. Creme brulee was delicious. Coffee was remarkably good. We will be back!

We celebrated our 43rd anniversary at Lime last evening and could not have picked a better place. Atmosphere, vibes, wait staff, coupled with absolutely delicious food from Chef Petal made for a perfect night. Both my husband and I agreed, we could not choose which was our favorite course, as each one was just as good as the next (don't skip their wings or mezze plate!!). Just over the Tobin, this is a must go to restaurant.

This is a gem of a restaurant in Chelsea. If you live in the neighborhood, consider yourself lucky and if you don’t, then consider making a stop here. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the service is genuine and attentive, the drink menu is fun, and the food is delicious. There’s something for everyone on the menu - from a burger to vegetarian options. The wine and cocktail list is thoughtful and gave us a chance to try a few new things (try the “corn and oil” drink!). We chose the white bean soup for starters and then had the seared cod with clams and the salmon with Vietnamese sweet potato (perfectly cooked and what must be considered a signature dish!). We left no crumbs on the plates and look forward to returning to try more of the menu. A perfect spot to “lime” with your friends and family.
