Brilliant Sunday lunch here with friends. Good choice of meats and also small plate option which to be honest wasn't much smaller than the large plate. Loads of veg brought out separately and everything piping hot. Will certainly be coming back again.
We received a very friendly welcome & fast/efficient service! Only 1 of our party ate but it looked good! The front area/tables were very comfortably furnished for both humans & dogs!
Now managed by the team that used to run Kings, down the road. Food is vastly improved fresh and no longer re-heated , beer selection is top line and fresh, atmosphere is great and buoyant.
Very good food. Very attentive staff. Beer always kept well even if it's a bit dear. But the one and only problem is the rip off parking. 10 minutes over and bang 60 pounds fine in the post. There is free parking ten minutes walk away and I strongly advise myself and others to use it if your not a w
Had a lovely Sunday lunch. The meat and veg were delicious and plentiful. Potatoes could have been cooked a bit more. Staff very friendly. Very dark in the area we sat, seems to be the trend these but not helpful when trying to read the menu.
I had my mother with me in a wheelchair , why I dropped a star it was awkward getting in the back door ( the ramp was a bit steep ) but the service was excellent. We had the breakfast and it was excellent with plenty of it . We will be back ! And try the front door .
We had a party of 8, family 18th birthday party. Everyone really enjoyed the roast dinner and other mains on the menu. We all had pudding as well. Nice variety. Service with a smile and nothing too much trouble. All just right! The management and team have made this pub a great place to be. Prices
Can’t fault the staff at the Dolphin Pub We travelled from Manchester seven hours We was tired hungry it was very busy but the staff still managed to find us somewhere to sit and have some food we both have the steak which was cooked to are liking it was delicious. Highly recommend
Stopped in for a coffee, stayed for lunch as I liked the place that much. Wonderful and friendly staff, clean, friendly atmosphere and a fairly comprehensive menu. I had 0 complaints from my visit
Visited on a Thursday evening when the Dinner Set were playing - a superb duo playing the harmonica and sax. Well recommended.
