All of the staff and especially the Landlord , Steve , were really friendly, professional and welcoming. The food was excellent, there were 3 of us and my Dog Shannon. Us 3 humans all had different meals and they were terrific. The whole menu looked brilliant, I was even sorry that I am vegetarian !!!! As for Shannon he was totally spoilt. The staff had Dog biscuits in their pockets and the customers who were sat near us kept sneaking him food. He's too friendly for his own good. I honestly can't recommend the Dolphin 🐬 any higher.

Not been here before for food so met up with a couple of friends . Great atmosphere when we walked in . A lovely man at the bar took us to the restaurant end . We were greeted by a friendly waitress ( didn't get her name !) Who explained the specials and took drinks order . Food arrived on a hot plate . All our meals were excellent . I had the chicken stack which I would recommend very tasty the chips were crispy on outside and soft on inside delicious😋. We had desert again very nice I had the apple crumble which was piping hot so had to wait to cool a bit . The apples were juicy and fruity !!
We will definitely recommend and return .

Lovely place to eat. Found on 'Find Me Gluten Free' where there were so many great reviews. More items on the menu were GF rather than the other way round, for a change. The young waiter and waitresses were attentive and understood cross contamination rules, so my mind was at rest. Food was fabulous. Had the roast beef Sunday lunch, wouldn't have k own it was GF it was that good.

Table for two (Friday 2nd Feb) Staff really helpful and friendly. A well looked after pub with a menu for all that’s full of choices for adapting for those needing gluten free food making food choices so much more easier for those needing gluten-free! 10/10! Wish more places would do this!!
The steak burger was excellent!
Three hours free parking at the rear of the pub with the ability to give staff your car Reg to extend the parking free of charge! We chose this pub so that we could watch the rugby - the snug area was a great place to watch the game! I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!

Brilliant family meal today at the Dolphin. Staff are always so friendly. Hubby is Ceoliac and this was by far the biggest GF menu we've seen, including puddings and GF beer! Great kids menu, even offering beans on toast when they heard my 4yr old ask. So accomodating, food was delicious, will return very soon! Highly recommend, can't compliment them enough ❤️🎉

We and the dogs had a great time. It was our first visit and we will be back.
The car park confused us. The sign says register your vehicle in the bar, the staff member said we didn’t have to.
After a couple of hours of being there, I decided to buy parking on the app. Because I was distracted thinking about it - perhaps this could be made clearer?

Popped in for breakfast. Lovely olde world pub with ample parking behind. Service was great and staff pleasant. Breakfast good other than the avocado and eggs on bread. Barely any avo. Perhaps as we were a bit late and they had run out but then say something. Anyway, we will be back for an evening meal.

Brilliant Sunday lunch here with friends. Good choice of meats and also small plate option which to be honest wasn't much smaller than the large plate. Loads of veg brought out separately and everything piping hot. Will certainly be coming back again.

Very good food. Very attentive staff. Beer always kept well even if it's a bit dear. But the one and only problem is the rip off parking. 10 minutes over and bang 60 pounds fine in the post. There is free parking ten minutes walk away and I strongly advise myself and others to use it if your not a watch wearer.
