The milk shakes are like the ones from the milk bar I used to goto in the 70s and not horribly thick like McDonald's and the ice cream portions are just right also the coffee great and selection of food and snacks brilliant keep it up Ralph you've created the best coffee shop for miles.

Great place for coffee and cake. We have been several times - but this was the first time with indoor service. Good selection of cakes and pastries. Pleasant and helpful staff add to the relaxed atmosphere. We will certainly be back again soon.

This is my favourite place in all of Buckinghamshire to come and eat or have lunch. It's really cosy, the booth seats are amazingly comfortable. The service is always wonderful and they have such a large range of drinks. Also friendly to dogs in the outdoor seating.

Lovely for a cuppa with a cake or a hot snack or brunch. Just off the river at bourne end it's a perfect stop if you're doing a river walk. Unpretentious and reasonably priced. Muddy boots welcomed. Outside seating ad well.

the food is amazingly delicious, however a bit pricey. it's a common place to hang out at my area and id love to go there everyday, but i can't because i can't afford it. good food, just lower the prices

This place is an absolute gem. They have a great selection delicious cakes/gateaux, it's impossible not to be tempted by them, right next to the till! A fine selection of gelatos and really good coffee, much better than costa just down the street, food is way better too. I have yet to sample the Bacon rolls as I never get there before 11am. Service is always very polite and efficient. The bathroom is one of the finest I have seen in a shop, always sparkling clean and pleasant.

Highly disappointing. Not a great choice of gelato, however this could have been over looked, had the food we ordered been even at all enjoyable. The crepes are microwaved crepes from a packet??! For the price you would expect your food to be fresh at least. These were like chewing on a bicycle tyre!!
No gluten free options for cakes or crepes, only one dairy free option for ice cream (a rather bland sorbet).
Anyone heard of service with a smile?
One scoop of ice cream by the way fills less than a third of the cup, I have never known anywhere to be so stingy with their serving sizes!!
I am shocked at the positive reviews. Maybe they do good coffee??!!!

Called in on Sunday after a disappointing main meal at The Walnut Tree. We both had a delicious dessert and coffee and we're very impressed by the decor, cleanliness and friendliness of the manager and staff. Would highly recommend a visit and will definitely be going back!

Popped in again yesterday for a nice hot drink in the afternoon. Hubby also had a scone, jam and cream-delicious! I am resisting all the goodies on offer as trying to diet but all look absolutely wonderful! Manager and staff all fantastic, great service, place spotless and even a loyalty card (but I keep forgetting to present mine!). My only slight concern was a dog being bought in when we were there. I didn't say anything as we were about to leave but not keen on dogs being in cafes, restaurants etc. A great addition to the village and long may it stay!

Haven't been to Bourne End for ages. Parked and saw this place opposite. Went in for a takeaway milkshake. Lovely service let me sit outside in the sunshine while they made it and brought it out to me. Very friendly
