Went here yesterday with my wife and daughter and it was a lovely cafe friendly staff and breakfast was top class i would highly recommend this place and very cheaply priced as well would definitely be going there again

Amazing food as usual, I’ve been coming to this cafe for years, I had the mega breakfast, it was amazing, food was piping hot as always and I had a cup of tea and that was lovely and hot, I definitely would recommend and the prices are so reasonable, such a friendly cafe and lovely and warm inside.

Great little cafe serving an amazing breakfast. There was a young girl running as waitress and handled everyone wonderfully and efficiently. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Highly recommend for brekkie. A*

Some of the cakes were too sweet, the cook is a little heavy-handed with sugar. The price of the full afternoon tea is a bit steep, and it's actually more advantageous to order each item separately. You'd expect a discount when taking a full menu, not the opposite.

This cafe is simply the best cafe in the whole Boscombe and Bournemouth the most reasonable prices starting from £6 for a nourishing meals ive been going to this cafe for the last 4 years breakfast are fantastic roast dinner never change chicken lamb beef always the best all the best veg. nice and friendly atmosphere plus very very clean I recommend this cafe to everyone I give it 5 star's

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised at how good our breakfast was. The service was excellent and the food was first class. Very competitive prices and our waitress was polite and friendly. We'll worth a visit.

The English Rose captures the essence of a traditional English cafe (in this instance definitely pronounced 'kaf') - the decor, atmosphere, clientele, menu and service down to every detail. It feels like stepping into another world if you are not from England or frequent modern cafes inspired by TV chefs serving smashed avocado and crumbled feta on artisan seeded sourdough. Situated on a very busy road in the heart of Boscombe, I've travelled past it countless times over the past few years wondering what it's like inside. Today I gave it a chance and wasn't disappointed trying a ham and cheese omelette served with chips and peas - a bargain at £6.50! Fluffy, gooey and delicious with crispy, hot chips. Best of all is the people watching - I could of easily stayed for hours. Make sure you visit.

I was given a recommendation to this place by a friend. I can say that it exceeded his praises.
Although I arrived at a busy time of day the lovely lady serving greeted me with a smile and took my order . The roast beef arrived in short order and I can honestly say it was the best tssting roasts I have had in Bournemouth. The portions were fair for the price and will return and I will bring others.
