Came here really last minute with friends after a long day on the beach. They were ready to close the kitchen but left it open just for us which we thought was really lovely!
I opted for a rack of ribs with steak chips and it did not disappoint! The potion was big and the ribs were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! This chips however were amazing! Thick and crispy!
The service was also friendly and polite, and we really appreciated them keeping the kitchen open for us!
The reason I gave it 4 stars was because the lighting was very dim. As you can tell by my picture it was dark and I could barely see what I was eating!
However if I return to Bournemouth I would definitely come back here!
I really enjoyed my sirloin. The best steak meal i have eaten out. Fair prices wonderful atmosphere. Staff very attentive. Just mouth watering meal. I highly recommend it..
Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff and a good selection of food. We went for the Griller experience platter and it was very much worth the money. All the food was cooked perfectly and the ribs were perhaps the best ribs I've ever had.

I’m not a big fan of eating red meat but my boyfriend is, so we decided to visit this place based on the steaks, he loved it and we had an amazing time thanks to the server called Jasmine, her service was incredible and she made us feel like the money we spent was totally worth it! Thank you Jasmine!
Worth a try. Steak is a must with reasonably price. All plates were delicious. Will Definitely visit again.
My first visit to Funki Griller and for the price I was expecting more. I ordered a 10oz Ribeye Medium Rare, to me it was undercooked, very fatty and incredibly chewy. My friend ordered Medium and was also undercooked and fatty also. I was debating sending it back, but didn't want to be 'that person' only ate around half of it. The accompaniments however were very nice and good portions too.
I had seabass fillet with roast potatoes,this was nicely grilled,I must day the portions are good.I ordered a rack of ribs for my kids and I was surprised how big the portion was ,they couldn't even finish it.
On the 17th February, me and my partner came here for a late valentines dinner, not knowing that I would become engaged. The staff and cooks were absolutely amazing! The warmth and comfort I felt from them was something special, manager Suzan has the most amazing personality and we felt we had know her for years, she gave us lots of hugs and compliments. We were given a bottle of bubbly on the house and we felt like celebrities. The food and overall experience was truly something I will never forget. We will definitely go back again.
Amazing food at a respectable price. This is definitely the place to eat in the area, especially if you are into Steak. We went for the Ribeye steak and it was cooked to perfection.
We just eaten a tasty burger and the wife had a very tasty rump steak cooked medium rare cooked to perfection.
Washed down with birra Moretti
and a lovely pint of neck oil.

Even the vegetarians of the group enjoyed their food having mushroom burgers. The kitchen has a camera on it and you can watch the 👨🍳 Chef prepare your order.

The service is fabulous and were well catered for.
We attended the beach cabaret site at the recent Bournemouth airshow any were blown away by the quality of the marque and the professionalism of entertainment. The whole team created a relaxed and fun atmosphere which I add was free to anyone attending the air show. Drinks were not over priced- food pleantiful and tasty and ambiance perfect . We went for a quick drink and stayed the whole day. Please , please come back next year
My friend and I went in for a meal before going on stage cross road to the pavilion theatre .. Sublime food, just enough on our plates, brilliant service.. Lovely atmosphere.. Beautiful decorations all around.. A place to go if you are in the area but above all highly recommended to you. Thank you to both the Owners and the staff for the warm welcome.

We didn't have a reservation, yet we were very quickly seated. The food was tasty and the portion sizes- big. Service was fast and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere inside. Wonderful first impression we would definitely come back if visiting Bournemouth again.

Fantastic steaks and accompaniments, great service. Venue was pretty empty, so difficult to judge what the atmosphere would be like when busier, but it looks good. Would definitely visit again.
