The Crab Restaurant And Bar - Bournemouth - Photo album

First time visitors to Bournemouth, we were spoiled for choices with dinning options, but Crab at Bournemouth caught our attention. Located just minutes walk from the beach and outstanding reviews, it seemed like the perfect fit for our love of seafood. We were not disappointed. Upon entering, the
We had our dinner at Crab last night. The made our reservation online two days prior to avoid disappointment as the reviews online are very positive. We were greeted by trained and friendly staffs when we arrived and our table is all setup for us. We ordered their specials menu which was fish soup
It's a restaurant with sea food. My husband isn't into sea food much, so he came along just for me, but there weren't options to choose from for him. He ordered the sea food linguine, but he said the pasta was a little overcooked. I have ordered only starters: Oysters - min oder is 6. Would have lik
Had dinner at Crab and was a pleasant experience. Wait staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Portions are smaller than I’d like, but there is a variety of food. Fish and chips were a generous portion, but the John Dory special was lacking. Perhaps other additional sides would help. Pre
Great seafood place. Excellent food and good service. Nice environment. I can't really say anything negative about the restaurant (maybe I could say that one of the waitresses was not very happy, probably she was tired, but I could tell she didn't want to be there). I had seafood linguine and calama
Enjoyed the food and sat next to the window with a view to the Pier. Varun served us and was really attentive. We did sometimes feel ignored but good ol' Varun kept an eye out for us. We went for the Moules (without the wine) which was great as expected (especially the fries that came with) as well
Phenomenal dinner last night. Took the Mrs for a weekend away and booked this place as we both love seafood. The atmosphere, the service and the food were second to none. The sea bass I ordered was arguably the best I've tasted, so fresh, moist and absolutely devine. Cannot fault this place at all!
Lovely food. Great menu choice for fish lovers. Service can be a little slow at times as different waiters seemed to attend us however special mention to Miroslav was very attentive. Definitely recommend the John Dory special and lemon posset. Photos attached.
Food was even better than I though. Their fish korma was excellent, very well presented and not too expensive. Atmosphere was quiet but that's to be expected at 2.30pm for lunch and we were grateful they could cater to us at that time. I would definitely go back, the whole family were very impressed
Great environment and best fish and chips I've ever had. Staff was so helpful.Great live pianist too!! Highly recommended!!!
