Absolutely amazing food! One of the best meals I have ever had, didn't wait ages for the food. It was cooked pretty quickly. And the service was incredible!! Such a friendly bunch of people! Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good place to eat!! Can't rate this restaurant enough!!
Thanks went there with my parents and my wife for a meal all had different starters all excellent and then followed with a Porterhouse steak with a rossini sauce with saute potatoes absolute heaven recommend this place been going there for 45 years and I had a bad meal yet.all other meal chassuer chicken and other steak great also .service from Mario and staff make meal feel like home from home .excellent again 3 time in 4 months with different people all amased at food and prices being v reasonable. We found the Bournemouth Steakhouse online when staying in Bournemouth and would highly recommend this family run restaurant. Staff were very friendly and the food was great and not too expensive.

Amazing service, amazing food and amazing prices! I eat steak out ALOT and whilst I have a lot of delicious meals, I often feel like I'm let down by at least one of the 3 main components... but the peppercorn sauce and chips were delicious and the fillet steak was one of the best, if not the best steak I have ever had!... so much so, I want to go back there tomorrow on my 2 night trip away �
I live in Portsmouth and come to Bournemouth 3 or 4 times a year. This place is the one I have to visit. It is always excellent. Great food and great staff.
Went last night for my brothers birthday dinner - Amazing food at amazing prices!!! Can't think of anywhere that does steaks as good as here!! Great service too and drinks at reasonable prices!!!

If you're looking for Michelin like dining experience, this is definitely not the place.
Yet, I gave this place a five star for the value for money, locality, and the super friendly staff.
The food are incredibly reasonably priced given how the general environment has been, I paid 40 pounds for those three steaks (steak trio on the menu) and it is perfectly enough for two to share if not too much. I would say this is very well priced even before the inflation and everything. The food quality is alright, not the best I've had but far from anything to the bad spectrum. The steaks were all rightly grilled and remained juicy. The flavour was good enough and might work best with a bit of salt, but they offer four types of mustard so you will find your choice.
People are saying it is a family run place, I cannot confirm that, but they do give a very warm neighborhood/family vibe in the place. They are very caring and service are definitely on point. Chatty staff to give you that welcoming feeling.
This is a very distinct old fashioned steakhouse that is getting increasingly rare and I recommend it definitely for the dining experience, if I'm rating it by food quality only, it would most likely be a four star.

Me and my fiancé are on holiday for a few days, we booked via phone call from a recommendation from my uncle. And we were not disappointed. Mario and the team are amazing, and without a recommendation from a member of the team, we would not have known that there was fireworks on every Friday at 10:00. Always go there with friends. Great service 👍🏻Hidden gym in Bournemouth. Steak is perfect, check their menu they have a variety of delicious selections. Trust me, they have the best sauces and salad is always fresh and tasty. Always clean and ready for service even in the busiest days. Don’t forget to try their cheesecakes they always have different flavours so I don’t get bored and try something new every time I visit which makes my experience more enjoyable.

Well, I would never have believed it until I went. Jeez, those steaks are tasty as hell, well cook and good value to boot. Just go. Although miss when a Stag Do of 20 blokes are there, but they were they are the brilliant steaks. I asked if I could have the T-Bone steak and two lamb chops. They said yes. Everyone laughed as if I couldn’t finish it. Hell yeah. Bloody lovely.
We went for a birthday meal it was a really busy Saturday night and it was amazing. Best steak I have ever tasted. Comments on other reviews about ‘like a hot knife cutting through butter’ were spot on. It’s a classic steak restaurant which offers a wide range of food and drink and it’s excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

Always incredible quality food, owner insists on giving only the best quality (has declined an order due to his opinion of the meat delivery that day) . Absolutely amazing food, after someone ordering a 40oz, the owner said that 48oz was their best and so charged that of a 40oz. Man is a legend. (FYI - the hero in the picture did 48oz of streak, chips and X2 portions of profiteroles.
Was treated to a meal here over 10 years ago and always remembered it as great experience and food.
Was lucky for the chance to return recently and it was just as good as I'd remembered. Steaks cooked to perfection and top notch friendly service.
If you like your steak, you really do have to come here.

Steaks that melt in your mouth and are cooked to perfection 👌, Salad with the most beautiful dressing, waiting staff that literally can't do enough for you, the restaurant itself is very cosy and warm and all this together makes you feel instantly welcome. I will always recommend this place to anyone. I don't have a bad word to say about the restaurant, the food, the staff, the prices, anything. Keep it up guys. And don't change a thing! A traditional restaurant ran by Italian family. We went on a Saturday evening and it was busy inside. The staff were friendly and welcoming toward us. The food was very nice, as was the service that we had received. This was a lovely find during our vacation in Bournemouth, and we would go back if we were visiting again.
Don’t be fooled by the out-of-date decor, this place is all about the food and service. Great staff. Absolutely delicious food. Would enthusiastically recommend to anybody!
The T bone steak was amazing and deserts..when we are next in Bournemouth we will definitely be returning.

Stumbled upon this place by pure luck but what a find. Old school family run independent business. Photos of the owners family on the walls from generations past. Service impeccable, food prepared and cooked in an open kitchen. Staff are enthusiastic and entertaining couldnt fault it at all

Warm welcome from the time you walked in the door until you left. Our waiter was so friendly and could not do enough for us. He had the ability to be present if we needed anything else. The food is amazing! Quality of produce and cooked expertly! We ordered a rare t-bone and it was perfectly cooked. Fillet minion and rump steak med rare, again perfectly cooked. All melt in your mouth quality. Would highly recommend this restaurant! It’s feels like a family run establishment where they look after the customer like you are the only ones there.
The only problem we encountered was the parking- nothing close by, but we are not locals so could have missed something obvious! It was definitely worth the walk though!! :)
