The Terrace Bistro

Did feel pressured to order food, although only stopped by for a drink. Felt staff were under pressure to promote food but, as we were tired and hungry having viewed Bournemouth Air Show, we succumbed. Food brilliant albeit a little bit pricey and menu was not extensive. Perhaps early days as only recently opened .... worth checking out.

Had lunch here today, on strength of reviews, and was desperate for crab sandwiches. We both had the “open ciabatta with crab, prawn and avocado” - the “crab” looked and tasted suspiciously like crab stick, and I couldn’t see any prawns. In saying that, it and the chips were very tasty. The double espresso ordered wasn’t espresso - more like weak-ish filter coffee. We’re only here for the weekend, so couldn’t be bothered to complain. Service good and speedy.

Lovely cafe, we came in as a party of 8, but 2 of us arrived and ordered before the others. The staff without asking sorted us a table together and made sure there wasn't too much of a delay between the two orders coming out. Food was really tasty, and not your standard cafe menu; nice to have something different to choose from. The kids' menu was uncomplicated though, so fussy eaters will find something they like.

Decided to stop here for lunch yesterday due to a warm welcome from the friendly staff. I was checking there was gluten free options available and I was in luck! I opted for a smoked Salmon and prawn salad it was literally the BEST food I’ve ever tasted so much flavour! I cant find the menu to find out the sauce it was delicious!!! My mum had the burger and it was cooked to perfection. Great location clean inside and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Overall the best meal we had on our holiday! Made our day and we didn’t want dinner! I was advised of a gluten free pizza so don’t delay if you have the same allergy! :) thanks again! When I come back I will definitely be eating here again! I think the photos speak for themselves.

My partner and I spent the Easter Bank Holiday in Bournemouth and discovered this amazing place on our 1st night and returned everyday. The staff (shout out to Liv, James, Kat and Hannah) for the brilliant service and great laughs. They were all very friendly and the food + wine was excellent. Definitely try their Charcuterie board and their Rose wine Great place to people watch, with a calming scenery. Will definitely be returning for a visit 😊
