The Wood Oven

Pizza was tasty, made on a fire wood with the generous amount of ingredients, with crispy edges. They have 8 options, but you can modify if needed. Lager Moretti and Singha and one Ale on the tap, with some bottle drinks. Outside seeting with view on the beach. Happy with this place, would recommend it.

I came here 2 days ago. We ordered a Margherita pizza and 2 portions of chips. The best thing was that the chips were cooked in a fryer dedicated to just chips, so suitable for vegetarians! The portion sizes were generous and the food was delicious. Even the Margherita pizza was delicious! The drink was in a huge cup too! The staff were very friendly and welcoming! Thanks guys and keep it up 😊 A special thanks to the person who helped us with our little dilemma in the evening... you know who you are ! X

Both delivery and pick up options are handled well. Few days ago we had few pizzas delivered to the office and over the weekend we ordered and picked-up few pizzas from the shop. It was so lush to eat a posh cheesy pizza on the beach. What else do you want? Sand, sea, beautiful weather and posh cheesy pizza. It's not the biggest and the cheapest pizza that you can locally have but crust is delicious and ingredients are very tasty too and also sourced locally. Will definitely order it again in the future.

The pizzas looked fantastic and tasted delightful. It was very busy, but it is Easter bank holiday weekend. Staff were absolutely fantastic, and very honest about the waiting time due to how busy they were. There were a couple of very rude customers practically demanding to jump the queue, the staff dealt with these people so well without being rude back. Great selection of gins too! Great place.

Delivered promptly to our beach lodge down the road. Loved the choice of pizza's available. We ordered 3 pizza's and garlic bread for 3 adults and 2 children and we had enough for lunch the next day! Was absolutely delicious! Walked past the restaurant a few times whilst on holiday and looked fab too! Will def be ordering for me you again next time we are in the area!

We ordered from here a few times before and loved it. We ordered again recently and the delivery took a while (which was fine as they let us know and apologised) but this time the pizza was overdone and my girlfriends garlic bread pizza came absolutely covered with caramelised onion, which wasn't mentioned on the menu. The chips were also not cooked to the usual good standard. Overall very disappointed, if this had been our first order from here, we wouldn't order from here again. Would have been a 5 star review before our most recent order.

My wife's birthday was the perfect opportunity to give The Wood Oven a try and we were most definitely not disappointed. Ordering online was a doddle and we really appreciated the £10 discount code to use with our first order. We were contacted extremely quickly when something we ordered wasn't available and while we were disappointed that the "Crazy in Love" gingerbread man was unavailable the gingerbread "Dinosaur Wearing a Sparkly Bow Tie" and "Standard" gingerbread man more than made up for it! The Garlic Butter Dough with Paprika were huge, delicious and very tasty while the pizzas were stunning. Nothing was skimped on and we were particularly impressed with the amount of topping. They were full of flavour and delicious. We were so full that the "Dinosaur Wearing a Sparkly Bow Tie" and Standard" gingerbread man survived to live another day (until the children got home from school!) We have no qualms in recommending the Wood Oven and will be ordering again!
