Very GOOD place to eat at for carvery/roast dinner. Drink prices are also OK better than other places in Bournemouth. The staff here are helpful and the service was good. Thank you.

3 of us went for a working lunch carvery. Fabulous range of meat - very friendly carvers! Great range of veg and roasties. Delicious gravy and good range of condiments. Excellent value for money, particularly with the king size added extra meat, Yorkshire puds and sausages! Friendly waitresses too. What’s not to like?!

The food, as expected from Toby Carvery is good value for money but that isn't really what this review is about. It's about the staff, which changes it from a good experience to an excellent one! A group of us were having a meal to celebrate my friends birthday. One of our party was a lady of advanced years and was taken ill, feeling faint, dizzy and sick. I went to the bar and asked for some ice, explaining the situation. I didn't get the barmaids name but she was wonderful and held some ice on my friends neck and noted all her symptoms. She then went to inform the first aider Laura, who couldn't have been more kind in helping my friend to recover! She was friendly, professional and went above and beyond to ensure my friends safety and well being. Heartfelt thanks from us all x

The food is very filling and delicious, it was worth the wait. The people that work here are very kind and friendly,Service was quick with drinks, however food not so much as it was very busy in the restaurant and a queue. The atmosphere was very fancy, cozy and the wall-paper had velvet flowers which were very soothing to touch, Overall very nice, I enjoyed my time here. I would recommend it.

Visited this Toby Carvery for a lovely meal out with family and friends, the food was lovely, and Wendy was really helpful, making sure they could accommodate for my wife and children’s intolerances. My only complaint would be over the toilets as they need some attention, and the decor an update, but overall the food and service made these issues seem small. Many thanks to the chefs and staff, will return when in the area again.

The best carvery we have ever had...n we've had a few. Food hot n tasty, 5 meat choice n could taste each meat on the plate. Only problem..it was very busy, (Sunday teatime) service was a bit slow by the waitresses....n the queue for the carvery was across our boothed table, which caused people to stand above us whilst we ate, (not impressed)...and for us to sit down there we had to ask the queue to move. We didn't order a desert because of this, Otherwise yes we would go again but definitely ask for a different table. After our meal we went to have another drink at the bar, sat at a table n was told to move...we had to go outside as the tables were reserved....Needless to say we went back to our hotel, we're from Birmingham, instead of having at least 2 rounds of alcoholic drinks...Cooper Dean's loss.

We had dinner here. I agree with some previous comments that the portion of meat they give you is a bit small compare to the rest (desserts also are big). Food in general tastes really good. The options are so English and it's kinda of an experience for strangers! :) The service was great, Wendy was lovely. We went for carvery, unlimited drinks and desserts for 13£/pp, which is great compared to the amount of food that someone of us had.

The food was excellent, and the chef even steamed some cauliflour separately for me as I am intollenrant to wheat. Our lovely waitress was Debbie. She wrapped our leftover meat to take home for our dog, and nothing was too much trouble!

We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff. The chef was friendly whilst carving our meat . Vegetables were hot and plenty of gravy which was very hot. I had a small portion of all of the meats. They were all equally well cooked and were tender.

The meat was prepared well and the serving sizes of the meat were a reasonable size. No complaints from our table. Lots of different vegetable options. Absolutely full just after my mains. Staff were super busy and could have done with an extra person at the front door. Ladies toilets were a bit grotty with a wet floor.

The food in general is very good, the only thing we did not like was the amount of meat on the plate (very little), I understand that the costs are currently difficult to handle but you have an excellent product (the flavour of the meats is very good) maybe if you would standardize the quantity per dish (for weight) it would be excellent, I would be excellent, I would definitely go again. The staff is very attentive and very friendly. very nice place.

We went to the Tony carvery a few weeks ago and it was a different league to this Sunday. Same location as well, the meat was a bit dry this time and the potatoes were squidgy instead of fluffy and crunchy

Lovely food as usual. Chefs very friendly! My only criticism is the chap who is on front desk. No welcome, no smile, no how can I help. Just starred at me and waited for me to tell him why I was there. Maybe a " welcome to Toby, do you have a reservation with us today?" Something like that instead of just ... Well nothing! Also, you must enter your reg into the machine for free parking, he didn't inform us of this either! The servers were lovely too. All in all a good experience but first impressions are everything and he let us down!

Had the best carvery here recently, possibly down to the earliest I've ever been there. All the food was fresh. Definitely the thing to do in the future. Parking there is always ample. Staff as always were polite.

Good food, enjoyed meal and drinks, good value with 25% discount. Can improve : had to wait for staff to come and carve, there was nobody behind counter, noticed some plates looking very worn out. All staff helpful and friendly
