Great that the village still has this local facility, which appears to be under new ownership and now offers pizza, fish and chips and kebabs. Food cooked to order and so far great taste.
We called in on the off chance it would be quiet as it was a week day. For a new, to Bow Street, business they were really busy. One chef was off delivering, the young lady behind the counter was rushed and the remaining chef was growing an extra pair of arms to keep up with the orders. With all of this going on, they kept their cool and didn't rush. I noticed that hygiene wasn't neglected either. I have never noticed before how much hands get washed until that day. Will definitely be using them again.

A friendly welcome each time that I've made the journey up from Borth. Fryer in Chief always has time to exchange a few words and ensure the product is freshly served. The team works well, taking the order and the cash separately from preparing the takeaway. I arrive after 6pm weekdays when the rush is gone.
This chippy is well worth a visit. Fish was massive and they serve proper chips. Everything about it was lovely, as were the staff.
Wow! This was a real treat. Bought a portion of fish and chips from the shop this evening, the food was first class. The chips were dry and crisp on the outside whist light and fluffy within. The fish was presented in a light crisp batter and perfectly cooked inside. Both the fish and chips were substantial portions. Excellent to have a first rate chip shop in the village.
Went here for the first time in ages as we fancied some fish and chips. Well we were not disappointed the fish was chunky and moist. The batter was lovely and crispy and the portion was a good size. My husband had the fish and chips he enjoyed both. I had a piece of fish and a cod roe I love cod roe and have tried a few different places over the years. The cod roe was a good chunky size with lovely crunchy batter. The staff are lovely and we had a bit of a natter while we waited. Best of all was the extra pieces of fish and roe in the boxes what a lovely surprise. So thanks for that we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be going back. So if your passing when its open and you want a good feed pop in and try it out. We we're not disappointed and after we had eaten we sat with a contented belly Infront of the TV. 👍

Fish was quite big and tasty, but chips done the job :) absolutely fantastic chips :). I had 2 fish and chips and that was enough for 2 adults and 10 year old . Only bad point is that they don't take card payments so that's why 4 stars only.
Best chips I've had in a long time they looked hand cut so lots of odd shapes would be more than happy to eat from there again
We haven't been to this part of the world all that much, but we will definitely come back for Bow Street fish and chips! They are the best ever! 👌

Polite staff and great reviews, The food looked good but wasn’t able to get any as for some unfathomable reason it’s cash only despite it being 2022! 5 stars as don’t want to diminish their rating for that

I live in Bow Street, so this is my local chippy. The food is cooked to order, which means waiting a bit, but they have an efficient system to keep waiting down to a minimum. They have a good variety the menu, and it's always delicious! The staff are friendly, too.
