Good music, tasty cakes and nice coffee. We went with our 10 month old and they were very accommodating. A few high chairs for the little one and comfy seats for the big ones.
The cakes served here are too good to resist. We went back to back twice during our stay at Windermere. Great coffee too and the staff are super friendly and polite. Fantastic! Proper coffee and home made cakes fresh from the oven. The owners were lovely with our children and made them both mini milkshakes. Perfect!
Had this place recommended to us on a recent visit to Grasmere, and what a lovely find! I love the homely feel they've created with oversized, characterful chairs and wooden floors. The lovely atmosphere was enhanced by the sound of blues tracks playing in the background; one of my favourite genres

We went here after reading positive reviews for vegan food but when we arrived we found only one vegan item on the menu. Fortunately however, it turned out that the vegan platter was fantastic!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, great coffee and exceptional cake and service. The lemon drizzle was the best ever. Very chilled atmosphere and music. A must for our next visit to the Lakes
The iced coffee was excellent and the brownie was probably the best I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly! A real gem of a place, just gutted we’ve found this on holiday instead of it being close to home or I’d be here all the time!
Amazing sandwich from here and other food looked good. They claom cakes as big as your head, they are big but people must have small heads round there.
Quick service and very friendly staff. Excellent! Chocolate Brownie was epic 👌 Forgot to mention, music in the toilets.. awesome!
