It was a very busy evening, yet it did not affect the service.

Good quality restaurant, had an excellent experience here. Food was very good with decent portion sizes. Good selection of all the usual Indian standards plus a range of specials we'd not come across before. Staff were great, and pricing reasonable. Note this restaurant is on an upper floor and is reached by several flights of stairs.Would recommend a reservation as it is popular.
We stayed near Ulverston and were been on the look out for a restaurant which have good rating, good service & good food. I don’t for some reason any restaurant reviews I checked had a customer review as rude and not worth, on the other hand Shahib’s have better feedback. We decided to have our dinner 12miles away from where we stayed. As we entered there was a person who out of surprise asked you need to spend 18 pounds each minimum, tbh nobody ask this but he could have his reason, we ignored and got our seat. Other staff around were really good and polite, they came up took our order. We ordered chicken tandoori, chicken karahi, paneer masala, aaloo tikki and some naan. We really enjoyed the food it was delicious and made our travel all the way from ulverston worth coming. I would really recommend if you near windermere or like us 12 miles away and searching for a good food.
Shahibs Indian food takeaway/dine in ... is definitely our absolute favourite .... when we're in Bowness on Lake Windermere. Never disappoints. !! The staff are very polite, the restaurant is nice inside too. Order taken efficiently.
We ordered poppadoms with mint dip, tender lamb tikka starter, very nice. My husband's chicken tikka with salad was delicious 😋 !! Tender, nicely flavoured chicken pieces, and my chicken tikka massala ... Well it was fab, generous portions and the flavour of coconut and almond was lovely too, rice nicely fresh and garlic nann bread ... All good. We will be back again ... on our next visit 👍 x
I highly recommend it. We have been here for dinner with my toddler and infant and the staff were amazing. Very helpful and friendly. Really good food and not bad priced. There were stairs and the staff was kind enough to help us with the pram. Really good with kids too. If would leave around would 💯 would've been back.
Was hard to find a halaal restaurant around barrow-in-furness, so decided to try this place with the Mrs. All I can say is I was amazed at how well made the food was, and the service was brilliant 👏

While our two days stay in ulverstone we came across shahib in search or good indian food. Went in with hesitation after the worst experience from another indian restaurant around. But shahibs was just opposite. staff were very welcoming, polite and friendly. They seated us,took the order and served the food in a timely manner. Food was amazing ,hot and fresh. Special mention to the Peshawari naan as i never came across a better one. Overall very well experience worth the drive of 12 miles at late night.
Shahib's is a very authentic Indian restaurant at a very good location. Absolutely enjoyed the High street view alongside our lunch. The Chef speciality Chilli chicken masala curry was full of flavors and the Nan breads were good as well.
The rice quantity was very small. But a good experience overall. The staff looks after you well.
We were visting the area and needed something that was both halal and knew what foods were gluten free and which weren't
Thankfully when we rang do enquire if they do gluten free foods or aware what foods don't contain gluten they appeared knowledgeable and pointed us to which items we could order

Went for a meal here whilst we visited Windermere. Very polite and respectful people. The food was absolutely amazing, very authentic. I am picky with my curries, but these guys didn't disappoint. Also, the brother showed me a nicer, more scenic route to get back to our hotel, with a stop off at a beautiful castle. Thanks for that!
Had a lovely meal last night the 3 members of staff i spoke to were attentive and had a great sense of humour. The food was excellent and the Beer prices were very reasonable for location definitely recommended 👍
