We stayed from the 16 Feb to 20 Feb accommodation was first class, the staff so polite and accommodating, The food is the best each meal tasted as good as another.
The chef has been there for fourteen years. His standards are second to none,
We have been stayed at this hotel each year since it opened and the standard through out has not changed, we would recommend it to all.
Stayed for Two nights on Thursday and Friday, the rooms are A1 and the staff are some of the most obliging and friendly I have encountered I would recommend this Hotel to anyone what's more the food and service are outstanding,thanks for a great stay xx

Asked to pay a bill this am because our meal and coffee (instant decaf ) apparently came to over a certain amount .
Very confusing as our booking simply said dinner, bed and breakfast. The only supplement mentioned was if we'd had steak ( we didn't).
I would still return, but now know I need to clarify what I can eat and will make my own decaf coffee in the bedroom!
Had a lovely over night stay at the craig Manor on 30th August would definitely recommend and we will be returning ๐

Visited here December & just come back now again with our little dog.The Staff are Very Friendly and on Both Occasion's we ate in the Restaurant and all Meals were Presented Lovely and Food was Delicious.We had a room at the Front of the Hotel which was nice with a Large Comfy Bed and Bath/Shower and also Kettle with Coffee/Tea/Hot Chocolate/Milk and Biscuits.We had full English Breakfast once from the menu in December and now from the Buffet in which you help yourself which is lovely.The Staff are always over asking if you want more Tea or Coffee very Lovely People and Compliments to the Chef on our Lovely Roast of the Day ๏ฟฝ Only downfall to this Hotel are the Drinks if they weren't so expensive maybe other Guests would stay in the Hotel rather than going out into Town but Over All My Husband and Our Little Dog and Myself Love The Craig Manor and will return back in the Winter
This place has exceeded our expectations and we would defo return! The staff are very welcoming and defo helpful from the moment we arrived to the restaurant and the bar. The menu is quality and value for money indeed! It is a grand location to explore the town and the Lake District from and yet coming back here afterwards has been soo niice!

What can I say. From the moment we walked in, we were made to very welcome. The lady on the reception had a smile and was very welcoming. The service we received was above and beyond. And the breakfast was exceptionally good. See you in June
Recently renovated and very clean. Staff is helpful, breakfast is lovely. The outdoor view at the breakfast is nice and quiet. Drinks at the bar also recommended the bartender is great! Overall recommended
Went for Xmas dinner here. ยฃ80 per person. It was fun, great hats but lacking Christmas vibes and atmosphere. Some meals (the turkey) were about half the size of others (salmon). Also only one pig in blanket per person, no cranberry or bread sauce and only one small bowl of veggies for 3 adults. Fortunately 2 of us aren't that fussed about veg. It was nice and a lot less stress than cooking at home but probably wouldn't pay that price for it again. I would go back for normally priced meal though as it was very tasty, especially the pate. Seemed a tad chaotic seating people too. Also the sofa by the window facing the car park needs to go, it sinks to the floor and you can't get out of it ๐คฃ 4 out of 5. ๐

We were visiting from the USA and London, and were so impressed with the friendly hospitality and top quality of the hotel room and service. Staff were all super helpful, breakfast buffet was amazingly run and super tasty.
Stunning views also!
To top this off, it was a 5 minute walk from town packed full of bars and restaurants, met some lovely server's and had a great Thai meal.

Beautiful hotel. Paid extra for a lake view room and what a stunning view it was. Staff were lovely and you never had to ask for anything. The homemade cookies in the room were a nice touch and were replenished each day. Superb buffet breakfast. Very close to the centre of Bowness. Could not fault and would happily stay againโฆ.
You'd have to be very picky to find anything amiss with Craig Manor.....so: The summer duvets we're heavier than ideal and both pillows very firm. Other than this the location is ideal, the rooms very clean and well maintained, all staff lovely and helpful and the breakfast excellent. The grounds and views are stunning. All in all, excellent value for money and better than you'd anticipate from an hotel rated 3star. We hope to have the chance to return.
This hotel is an absolute gem. Was checked in by the nicest receptionist ever who was also the barman and also the cook I think! He was brilliant and so friendly. We stayed in a family room and it was stunning. The finishing touches in the room were top quality. I completely recommend this beautiful hotel and can't wait to return.
Lovely hotel in Windermere. Friendly staff, great food and very clean room. Would reccomend for anyone visiting the Lake District.

Perfect location, we stayed last year when I was pregnant and this time we had our 7 month old with us and they couldnโt be more accommodating!! Rooms have been updated (the bathroom was beautiful) the family room was amazing, more than enough space for the three of us. I love the breakfast here I always look forward to it! Staff are super friendly and we look forward to staying again next year thank you!!
Fabulous hotel, rooms spacious and very clean with lovely views, the breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend Craig Manor to friends and family.
Had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were great and well kept. Had immaculate grounds with a wonderful view best appreciated in the breakfast room. Their breakfast menu was 10/10, would definitely recommend especially as it comes with the booking. Very close to shops and restaurants and not too far off from the lake and popular tourist attractions. Spacious parking.The staff were very courteous and quite engaging.
Only downside was the poor wifi signal in our room but otherwise had a wonderful stay. 9/10, would recommend.
Been coming here for years and we love it. This visit we had a huge room with a large comfy bed and bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Excellent value for money when you compare to some of the others in Bowness-On-Windermere. Update just come back from another visit and had a great time. Staff super lovely and helpful
Nice hotel, not too big, not too small. All staff were excellent, the main receptionist was friendly and called my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter by name throughout our stay. Breakfast was exceptional, sadly no evening meals yet, but good advice given and several quality restaurants within 2 minutes.
Where do I start!!! When we arrived we was greeted like we have been there before ,most welcoming. The room was excellent, nice decor, up to date bathroom. Food was excellent especially the full English breakfast, piping hot, cooked to perfection. The comfort of the bar area to relax with a nice beer was most relaxing after a day out at the lakes. And as for the staff well it is like you have known them for years, you could actually have a nice chat with them all. My thanks to the staff for a relaxing holiday, especially Jason who put his self out to make you welcome,and to Vio in the breakfast restaurant for the good humour in the mornings, and of course Anthony who served us in the bar. Again thank you all . See you next vacation that's for sure.
We've just been here for a couple of nights and thought it was spot on. The room was really nice, the staff were all really nice, the breakfast was amazing. We would definitely go back.
Visited as a couple from London and New York, had a beautiful time, great hotel, lovely breakfast, front desk staff helpful and friendly, we plan to return for a longer stay next summer,
