In the middle of everything 5 min walk to the lake ,rooms are fantastic modern and the on suits very modern ,and if you fancy dancing night away night club in basement 😀 👍 what more could you ask for
Very nice pub. Called in for a couple of drinks, warm, friendly welcome. Bit of a shock with the prices. But i suppose thats what it is around here
Its a great looking building in a cracking location. Bit dated but clean & charming. Very well priced. I liked the place.
We went to a family wedding at Windermere so chose The Stags Head for a two night stay. Booking-in was a little hit and miss, with that staff being outside, smoking. Once she got sorted and gave us advice / instructions, we went to a very clean / tidy four-poster large room with good facilities. Th
Great place to stay in the centre of Bowness Short Walk to the lake. Good food and drink reasonable price recommended
This place is very much your typical local. Which I love it's a really welcoming and nice pub. It also does really good pub food and has options for people with allergies. Very nice and helpful staff. Also dog friendly. Extremely impressed with this pub will certainly be returning.
Really liked this hotel, good sized rooms, tasty breakfast
Great weekend ,excellent service ,staff were very helpful .Lovely breakfast with friendly staff .Bar meals and drinks were very reasonably priced with the 10 % residents discount .The entertainment was excellent .Location couldn't be better .We marked the room down because the bed was very uncomfor
Friendly staff good meal and nice games area.
Called in for lunch food was great ,staff where really friendly. Came with a bowl of water for our dog as soon as we arrived made a real fuss of her then treated her to a sausage she loved it ,highly recommend.
Had a great night in here, entertainment was brilliant and a great atmosphere
Great vegan food. The menu is a bit unclear, with some vegan options having egg. We spoke to the guy and he wrote everything down, although I wasn't completely sure what we'd be given. But the food was really good, and some of the best value in the area. We had veggie burger and chips (both really g
Friendly, welcoming (log fire on a cold, rainy day), good service and great food. What's not to like. Thank you.
A bit tired and outdated, the venue is in need of modernization and has real potential to be an absolute gem in the heart of Windermere. The staff were okay, but definitely felt like a locals only spot. Limited selection of beers, but was happy with my BeaverTowm Neck Oil.
Drove up to windermere and decided to stay, Rooms were very cheap basic but bedding towels etc immaculate. Staff were friendly Terry especially Breakfast were very nice all locally sourced enjoy it very much.
Been here a few times. Good beer. Went for the Moorhouses Amber. Very good. Lovely fire. Patio seating out front. Always feels like it needs a clever refurb. The main bar area lacks soul. Just left Hole in the Wall pub at 12.15 and people are piling in. This bar very quiet.
