Nice little cafe with unrivalled views of Windermere and the boats as they arrive and depart. Good food and drink option and not too expensive. Friendly staff and handy toilets (ask for the key). Worth a visit for the views and great ice cream!

Got off the Lakeside boat for a wander round Bowness. As per usual , everywhere was rammed. There was hardly anyone in the cafe at the bottom of the pier so we went in. They are so friendly and the food must be the crowning glory. We had the fish, chips & peas , a coffee & a water. The food was 1st class & the portion was huge it included bread butter. We left absolutely stuffed. The coffee was also superb. I know where our 1st stop will be when back in the area. 5*
