As a disabled customer on a mobility scooter it would really help if there was a push button to be able to open the main entrance door and the door to the toilets. The doors are very heavy and difficult to open.
Our waitress was lovely and the food was great x
Staying here with family on the way back home as a halfway stop . Chosen for location price and ease of booking and stayed before at a Marston inn was very comfy . Again booking was easy and price was good . Location is great albeit I missed the entrance off the main road . Booked in easily with staff and again room well laid out and clean and comfortable. Booked a meal for the Evening at the pub.
Duly sat down in a lovely pub very comfy good menu for family and kids were served by the lovely Caroline who couldn't do enough for us . Food and service were both fantastic, every meal was perfect, the buttermilk burger , tikka and pie of day beautiful!!.
Would certainly visit again without a doubt. Thanks to the staff , Caroline X
Only ate dinner. Food in itself was nice, good portions well cooked.
Decor of pub is realy fresh nice and open.
Service was the only let down very long between starters and mains a murmuring waiter and also no question of How's the meal or top up your drinks?
Would still give it another go though .
Our server, Jo, was very friendly and despite being very busy ( full moon and payday...always a deadly combination) was very efficient. The food was very tasty and very food value. Lovely atmosphere and great pub. I will be back for definite.
Great venue that we have used for the last four years. We stayed there regularly before we moved into our cottage but still dine there on an almost weekly basis. Melanie usually serves us and is brilliant as is the food. Great value too, especially their steak evening on a Thursday. For a chain pub, the quality of their meat is first class and would not be out of place at a top steakhouse! Keep it up guys you are our go-to restaurant for dinner.

Great service from Caroline, she let my little girl (5) borrown her own coloured pens to colour and draw on the children's menu.
Great time between ordering and food arriving...impressed with the amount of meat that came with the roasts! Great value for money.
The downside was that the beef was pretty chewy but that's down to personal preference.
Would recommend for families too, nothing was a problem and were made to feel welcome.
Stopped here on the way to Derby for food and it was great especially the staff and the lady that served us (Caroline) was lovely! We were made to feel right at home even though it was quite busy. Will definitely stop there again on our way through! Food was good too decent portion sizes and good quality 👍🏼
Stayed overnight travelling from Devon to Suffolk. The room was fairly basic but comfortable. It had all the facilities needed for one night stay. We ate in the adjoining pub. Could not fault the food or the service. Plenty of car parking and also charge points for evs. If using the check in is in the pub as there is no reception in the hotel.
Great meal at reasonable price. Excellent, friendly, cheerful service from Caroline. Will definitely come back!
Stopped for a charge of our EV and lunch at the Paisley Pear on the way home to Dorset from Yorkshire. Great charging at the row of Osprey chargers and a decent good value lunch. The pub had friendly & helpful staff, great atmosphere and good food . They are dog friendly, and have a nice children’s play area too. Highly recommended for a stop if your passing this way.
