We held our whole wedding day at Stirrups, from ceremony to wedding breakfast to reception party.
The venue is beautiful, the packages offered are great value for money and the food was fantastic, even when churned out 50+ times for the wedding breakfast!
But what really makes this place even better is the wonderful staff.
We cannot thank you all enough (especially Dimi, Dawn, Jody and Matt) nothing was too much trouble and the whole day was perfect from start to finish, because these guys really know what they're doing and they think of all the little things that never even occurred to you!
We would highly recommend Stirrups to anyone, for a wedding or any other event.
We had dinner here on the way back from an event in Pirbright last Friday ,what a little gem of a place this is,the food is fab and the service was spot on,our waiter couldn't do enough for us and he even supports my favourite football club Liverpool lol, we will be returning for a weekend stay for our anniversary and sons birthday as it will be a great location for what we have planned,cant wait to return.
We had our wedding here on Friday 1st June and had the best day of our lives! The staff at Stirrups were absolutely incredible from the day we booked it 18 months before until the day of the wedding. They set up the room beautifully and exactly how we wanted it! Every member of staff listened to everything we wanted during the planning and gave us great advice. Many of our guests mentioned how gorgeous the hotel and grounds were and the food was perfect :) Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gorgeous and stress-free wedding. I was lucky enough to win one of their FB competitions for a Prosecco Afternoon tea for 4 people. I took my mum, sister and my best friend and we had such a lovely time. Food was great - the cakes were particularly lovely and a really generous serving of cream for the scones!
Highly recommended and proof that their FB competitions are genuine and worth entering.
My husband and I were lucky enough to get married at Stirrups and the day went without a hitch which was down to the hard work of Louise, Jody and the rest of the awesome Stirrups team! They truly care about how your special day turns out as if it were their own. The venue is beautiful, the rooms, the grounds... everything was amazing. The organisation is second to none and we would do it all again at Stirrups any day! And oh my god the food is to die for... it’s sooo good, they have nailed mass catering to a tea! �
Beautiful location, wonderful food & absolutely 1st class staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. We were married here on 27th May, held our wedding breakfast & evening reception here too & the whole experience was nothing short of fantastic. Fabulous just got married there and the staff there are the best. Organised, attentive but never intrusive. Food outstanding- nothing negative to say. If you're thinking of getting married choose here it's simply the best �
We used the hotel for a meeting for the first time. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure we had everything we needed - First class service.
Also used the hotel for B&B and the bedroom was done to a very high standard. Had time for a quick breakfast the following morning & was perfect to start the day.
Would recommend the hotel & we'll certainly return at some point given the great experience. Thank you.
Stirrups hosted our wedding and reception in mid-July. The staff were an absolute dream and could not have been more helpful in making the day run smoothly. A particular mention goes to our Master of Ceremonies, Dimitrius, and also to Louise who assisted with all of the planning. Back at Stirrups for about the 10th time after our beautiful wedding in 2014. We are always made to feel welcome and our meal last night was very high quality. Will always recommend this place to anyone.
Thank you to Louise, Jody and Dawn and all the staff for taking care of the preparations leading up to mine and Phil's wedding day and doing such a fantastic job on the wedding day. Everything was perfect for us. The sun was shining over Stirrups and it was beautiful. Everyone commented on how superb the food was, so a massive thank you to the chef and team as well. Attended a friend's wedding yesterday. Staff very friendly and attentive and the food was lovely! The whole place has a nice vibe about it �
Our second stay at this hotel and besides the stunning grounds, the staff are wonderful and friendly! From our arrival and our daughter not having a bed in our room we only popped down to ask nicely for one to be supplied and one was set up almost immediately with complementary drinks at the bar for the inconvenience. Our dinners and breakfast were lovely and our room comfortable and clean. The staff at the desk for check out were polite, chatty and gave great tips for our day at legoland. Would definitely stay here again x

Got married here April 2018, everyone and everything was so organised and amasing! Couldn’t not find a single issue, very very happy!! The staff were all really friendly and the management team were exceptional, so flexible and adapted to our every single need! Awesome!
Eventhough it's Pandemic, but the outdoor definitely the best recommended when the weather is SUNNY ! we didn't reserved a table simply walked in during lunch but they gave a table to us, Menu order with ( attendance button ) food served very quick even it's busy... Staffs was super friendly and very attentive. ( waiter came to us less than a minute after we pressed the call button )
Food was great Eventhough we ordered just a simple burger 🍔 and Club sandwich 🥪.
Definitely will come back for dinner next time !overall we love this place !!

What a lovely experience! Booked an outdoor pod to celebrate a birthday and it couldn't have been much better! The pods are brilliant - they don't have much head room but they are so much fun! There is even a Bluetooth speaker to play music on, and the service was brilliant. The afternoon tea wasn't the best I've had, nothing wrong with it but the cakes looked nicer than they tasted. Lots of tea and coffee refills whilst we chatted away - was a great girly catch up and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended!
I went here with my husband few weeks ago. We're both vegetarian and ordered a vegan pie with baby potatoes for our main. I had enough pies in my life to confidentiality say this was the best one I've ever had! It had so much flavour, and the portion size was perfect! Even if you're not a vegetarian you should give it a go. We will definitely be back with backup 😊

Immaculately kept to a very high standard and friendly helpful staff. This has been my consistent experience over several visits. The attention to detail with small things like the buttons on the table for table service and the dying art of a good choccie with the bill. Food has also always been great. Go on, pop in for a pint :-)
Went for a steak night dinner. From the time we arrived the service was excellent. We may be in the middle of a pandemic, but the staff couldn't have done anything better to make you enjoy your evening. Well done👏👏
