Absolutely fantastic.Cannot fault a thing. Took my mum and family out for Mothering Sunday, we had the Sunday lunch, rib of beef with mixed vegetarian and meat starters and all had variety of desserts, everyone thought it was superb, the pub itself, the staff, the menu and atmosphere was 5 star and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

One of the best places we've eaten in England. Unfortunately it's changing hands and the chef with 10 years experience living in France will no longer be there so not sure what's coming. The staff absolutely perfect!!

We had dinner here last night and it was fantastic - Chefs tasting menu was full of fantastic flavours and beautifully presented The staff were really friendly, professional and knowledgable on both the food and drink and looked after us superbly. (Especially the young lad wearing the green shirt!) This place is a real find, getting food and service stop on, cannot wait to go back with friends

Booked a table for two for a late Sunday Lunch. The staff were fantastic and welcoming, food was excellent with gluten free options no trouble at all, the gluten free bread was as good as I have had anywhere!. Would definitely come again.

Fantastic food and service. If you're nice to the service they're nice to you. Totally accommodating, they let us choose between the fixe prix and the a la carte menu and were happy to do so. Food is rightfully raved about around here and staff are busy but helpful. Every family member I've brought here have been so happy with food and service. Thank you, the Bunch of Grapes!

We celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary here and as ever the service was exceptional. The service staff both behind the bar and waiting tables are always welcoming, polite and accommodating. The meal was also sublime with my husband enjoying a perfectly cooked sirloin and my wood fired sea bass with salsa verde was a winner. All polished off with the star: Cafe Gourmand for two. The ambience and decor are also inviting - in fact with this lovely bistro on our doorstep, what's not to love!

Well, what can I say about this incredible subtle restaurant. It doesn't scream out to you. There's no bells and whistles, no shouting look at me look at me. It just sits on the hill in the beautiful setting of Bradford On Avon, and the food itself does all the talking. The Sunday roast was just divine. The lamb just melted in your mouth. We couldn't stop eating, and our stomachs were bursting we so full. It was that delicious we didn't want to stop eating. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic Sunday lunch. Came with the Mr, in a rare Sunday off together, and had a fantastic experience. Staff are quick, pleasant and know their stuff. They also don't hover about, as they do in some other establishments. Wasn't going to have a starter, but went for the celeriac dish - celeriac, cheese truffle... Glad I chose it now. The Mr went for the mackerel which looked amazing. For mains we both had the veggie Sunday lunch, a pativier filled with mushrooms and other things, that escape me. Roast potatoes were next level. Crunchy and soft... Could have eaten just a bowl of those!! Came with veg and gravy both of which we tucked into as well. Wasn't going to have dessert, but went for the chocolate offering. The Mr had the crème brulee. Both were outstanding. My chocolate dish came with a Horlicks meringue... Heavenly. It was rich, consisting of chocolate ganache and ice cream, but somehow never felt like too much. Finished off with a coffee - and a hazelnut espresso martini for his lordship. Overall the experience was too notch. It's very dog friendly - and there were plenty in today. All very well behaved and adorable. If you're about the area, and they have room for you, go and enjoy great food in a cosy setting. You won't regret it.

The best meal me and my family have ever had! We went this weekend for my birthday and absolutely every part was exceptional. The service was wonderful, lovely and friendly without being over bearing. The atmosphere was very relaxing and intimate with a little buzz. The food was out of this world. We had the tasting menu and each part was so beautifully presented and cooked it felt more like an experience rather than a meal. My dad said the dessert is the best he's ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is wanting a treat for your taste buds and I am already looking forward to when I can go again! 10/10, faultless.

Excellent all around. Food and drink choices are top quality, whilst totally unpretentious. We wish this was closer to home to visit more frequently. Dog friendly (do let them know when booking).

The food was amazing! Delicious Sunday Roast. We had the Pork and Chicken, both fantastic. Gravy is probably among the best I’ve tried. Kids were also super happy with Fish and Chips. Service at the entrance was really slow, we saw at least two couples that entered after us being directed to their tables before us - which is not good, especially having two hungry kids around. Aside from that, the place is great, staff upstairs were super friendly and always trying to help. We will definitely be back soon!

A nice little place with nice food...I really enjoyed the food I ordered however was disappointed that it didn't come as stated on the menu, and only when asked were we told why. Usually you are told if something will not be as described on the menu and this will in turn inform your final decision. However the fish and chips were very nice and seemed to be made fresh. The service was nice from the younger staff, I felt that one member of staff was slightly rude (maybe not intentionally, but tone of voice is everything in this industry) however I would not let this put you off eating here the food is reasonably priced for where you are. We came quite late, so the atmosphere was pretty chill, I imagine on a busy day it will be alot louder for example, but I like the chilled atmosphere as I am able to have a conversation without having to raise my voice.

This is the best roast dinner I’ve ever had. 10/10. I think of myself as a hobbyist roast dinner connoisseur. I’ve eaten a lot of them. Last year I thought I’d found the best roast I’d ever eaten, and then the place closed down. Heartbroken. Then my partner suggested we go to Bradford on Avon for a Sunday walk and pop into The Bunch of Grapes for a roast. What a shout. Service and atmosphere in there were fantastic. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I opted for the chicken breast roast, my partner and friend both opted for the veggie pithivier. Both were delicious and the chicken was really flavourful and succulent. The roast potatoes were out of this world - super crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The braised red cabbage was incredible, nice and sweet. The cauliflower cheese was big enough for the three of us to share and was the kind of savoury moreish that can get you in trouble. The Yorkshire pudding was huge. Even the side of veg was excellent. To top it all off it came with a good helping of the nectar of the gods - the best gravy I’ve ever encountered. I rate this so highly because not only did the roast come with a little jug of extra gravy but there was absolutely no qualms about asking for extra! Worth a visit if you’re even remotely local.

What a lovely place! We popped in for an early morning coffee and what a warm welcome we had. We arrived with toddler in tow and a clumsy mummy (knocked over a wine glass!) But the woman who served us was so lovely, nothing was too much. It's not somewhere we would normally take our toddler into as it looked too nice but so glad we did! We didn't have food but only because we hadn't expected to find anywhere open so had already eaten. The menu looked delicious though and will definitely be a place we will go for food when we return to the area! Thankyou for making us feel so welcome.

The beef from the grill isn't my liking (a bit too cooked) but I have to admit it is nicely done. The starters were very good (especially the squid which I forgot to photo). The sticky pudding is really really good!

Went to The Bunch of Grapes for Sunday lunch. Didn't disappoint. Lovely food, nice place and dog friendly too. Excellent mushroom pithivier and great triple cooked chips. Really enjoyed everything and went to their bakery, The Bunch of Bakes, next door and got some delicious baked goods too! Brilliant! 🧡❤️🎉

Wasn’t sure what to expect but blown away by the quality and creativity of the food. I ordered the pork which came 4 different ways, all amazing with super tasty vegetables. Our teenagers had fish and chips + burgers that were great. Best meal in England so far (we are from US - California)

Seven courses of exquisite food. Not only was each course absolutely sublime, there was not a single ingredient in any of the seven courses that was not just perfect. Not hyperbole, this was a perfect meal. The wine list was good, the service was superb (Peter). The only reason for the four star atmosphere rating, was the table was a bit (very) cramped for four people, and the chairs made your bum numb for half an hour afterwards. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, it is a hidden gem.

We came here for Sunday lunch yesterday and really rated it. A great roast in a really sweet town. We had the lamb sharing roast which came with tender sticky falling apart shank, plump little cutlets and well flavoured crispy croquette. The potatoes were crispy, the Yorkshire good and the vegetables well cooked. The gravy was absolutely fab so rich and sticky and there was lots of it. Our friends had the pithiveier and beef which they also absolutely loved. The only thing we ate that we weren’t mad impressed with was the rabbit starter- the Ballantine was served cold and was a bit springy although the croquette was nice. It could have done with more tarrogon Mayo for dipping instead of decor! Overall though such a cracking roast we will definitely be back

Two of our table of five agreed this was the best roast they had ever eaten (they had the lamb sharer.) The potatoes were incredible, and the Yorkshire’s were big but still delicious and not dry which often happens with the biguns! Only slight moan was the veggie option was below average - a mushroom pithiver which two of us ordered. The filling was dry and lacking flavour, plus we both agreed that mushrooms as a vegetarian option is a boring a common choice for such a lovely restaurant. Of course just personal preference, but a roasted squash and shallot pithiver or a beetroot wellington for example would’ve been slightly more exciting. Having said that, the veggie gravy was far better than most we’ve had. All in all, a brilliant meal and we will definitely be back!

The best pub food I've ever had. They do both traditional and experimental modern cooking well.
