Called in after a fellow dog owner recommended this place and loved it. Friendly and welcoming staff and it's dog friendly too. Will be making this a weekly stop on our long Sunday walks from now on! Thank you to the lady working today for the pupcake, my eldest dog may not have eaten it but my pup wolfed it down when I got home � x
Love taking my grandson here he gets pop and crisps but what i like the most is the sweets i was brought up with in the big tubs on the shelves a place not just for kiddies or mums but 4 nannas too
Milkshake ahoy 😀 friendly service clean and tidy. Been constantly nice friendly staff the kids have enjoyed every Friday afternoon ice-cream and milkshakes. Will definitely be missed.
A really nice ice-cream so attached to an equally nice looking pub. The ice-cream shop sells soft and scoop ice-cream in various flavours, eldest child had bubblegum and chocolate, youngest had mint and chocolate, I had Apple pie flavour and whilst mine was very fake in flavour it was a nice treat, kids both shared theirs with me and I am happy to say all were very nice, the staff even offered a drink for our dog but he already had one. All in all a very nice place and even with two rounds of drinks there was changes £15.
Now re-opened as a Coffee and Ice Cream Bar along with a gift shop.
Visited on their 2nd day of trading, owners trying very hard to make this work and keen to please. "Barista" was understandably a little nervous, he'd not been doing it long. Once I found this out I was a little concerned; well there was no need to be. The coffee was hot and full of flavour. Perfect!
There was also a great selection of what looked like yummy cakes, but didn't have time to partake in those unfortunately.
They also have a good selection of ice creams , along with a gifty style shop.
Great place to call into if you have been on a walk over Thornton Viaduct, and I will certainly be back.
Nice spot for light lunch, a drink or an ice cream. Perfect for a stroll from Clayton over the viaduct to Thornton.
A great place for coffee and cakes and a cosy atmosphere with a warm welcome when the bar is open.
