Tasty food. Chapli kebab for my taste, not so spicy, very delish, and small, marinated lamb bites was gorgeous.
Kind staff, always there when needed. Will be coming again. Recommended
Good place specifically if you like chapal kabab, and karaaahi type food, good place for meat eater, clean environment good for families and kids friendly
Visited this restaurant again as its a family favourite now, the service is second to none, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. They have started offering a tawa for 2/3/4 people and the portion sizes are amazing. The food is all freshly made and you can taste the freshness the masala fish was so soft inside and the batter was lovely and crispy, I loved the Kabuli Pulao rice and Seekh Kebabs. A must try. They also give a really nice green tea to finish the meal.
Delicious Kabli Pilaw, the lamb shank just melted in your mouth, we also had seek kebab and that was very nice too. Definitely recommend going there for a family friendly atmosphere.
Great Food Great Desi Taste
It’s usually very busy restaurant. Service and food is amazing, loved it. Employees are very kind,. Presentation is outstanding, I would give above 5 stars.

Probably the closest to authentic peshawari/afghani food in Bradford. Food came fresh and piping hot despite it being a busy restaurant. We ordered the charsi karahi which is lamb and only comes in 1kg. We also ordered the namak Mandi chicken karahi. Both were very tasty and authentic. Chapli kebab was nice and soft. Malai tikka was also soft and tender and had a nice flavour. Nothing was too spicy (which is what I’d expect at an Afghan/peshawari style restaurant).
You don’t order naan separately, nor does it show up in the bill. I thought this was quite good. They just come and top up your naan when it looks like you need some. Prevent waste of food. They gave complimentary kahwa at the end.
The waiters do need a little bit of training. We found some plastic wrapping in the salad and when we complained to the waiter, he didn’t apologise. He just said ‘it’s probably from when they were cutting the lettuce’. If you’re someone who orders Tap water, is not provided there. The waiter when asked to bring tap water said ‘the era of tap water is over’.
Food was delicious, ordered namak mandhi lamb karahi, kabli pilau with lamb shank, and golden grilled fish! Absolutely loved the taste of it all! Owner was very friendly too!
Restaurant Staff is very professional clean and tidy, Floor is always clean and washrooms is just unbelieveable clean like new with good fragnace in it soap every thing is avaliable in it.
The main facilty i found is the prayer place in a safe side suitable for mens and womens.
Food is halal and an in Asian style taste you will find in all dishes..
Wow! This is what I love about Bradford. Breakfast spots like these. I ordered an omelette, desi chai, choley and a parata. I was welcomed by Umair who took my order and started prepping my paranta. The food was served quick by my waiter viki and it was delightful 😊 I definitely would recommend and will be back again!!!
Also they take card payments!
Nice place to eat traditional Chapli kebab and Charsi Karahai. Chapli kebab was soo juicy and Tasty that u would come again and again to have such amazing taste. Charsi karahai which was made of some simple ingredients such lamb with salt and Black pepper and fresh Tomatoes and Green pepper which make them amazing tasty eating with fresh Tandori nan.
Would come again.
Beautiful karbilli pilau best ive ever had, we go to Al aqsa on Southport Road in Manchester that is nice but here beats anywhere I've been. Nice and quiet, lovely staff, very polite and helpful,no long waiting for meal and really tasty lamb karahi
We got the chicken karahi, chapli kebab, and the chicken malai kebab
Chicken karahi: took me straight to Afghanistan with the authentic taste of karahi. Extremely flavour-some with fall off the bone chicken.
Chapli kebab: massive portions with tender and juicy meat. Good flavour too.
Malai kebab: a tad bit overcooked, however, the flavour was excellent.
Topped off with some exquisite tea. All in all, satisfying meal. 4.5/5.
My wife doesn't eat lamb much or that is what I thought of her. One day we ended up in Shinwari and had namak karahi. she finished it all, even cleared the karahi pan with naan. From that day on, if we are going to Bradford, it's going to be shinwari by default because of her.
Been there multiple times now, taste is always great.
Chapli kebab platter: these are three chapli kebab with a naan and egg fried on top. Trust me, you will struggle to find authentic Peshawari chapli kebab better than this in UK. If you have been to Peshawar then you would know what I am saying.
Namakeen karahi and charsi karahi: proper lamb and chicken karahi in Peshawari style, without any red chilli peppers. The absence of red peppers takes away the 'usual' taste of all sub continental curries and gives this lamb its own originality. I think it makes it easier on the stomach too and you end up eating more and enjoying it fully.
Peshawari qehwa: nothing can water down your well eaten meal better than Peshawari qehwa. It's sweet with a touch of lemon and a must, especially in these winters. To top it all it's complimentary and bottomless.
Service: always a pleasurable experience, chief cook is chatty and loves to connect with customers, looks after each table personally to make sure they're looked after. If you're an extroverted person, you will love his company and gossips.
Afghani establishment, the restaurant is clean and family friendly, menu is simple, staff was polite and food was better than we expected. We ordered seek kebabs, lamb chops as a starter which were freshly made and for the main we had a charsi karahi which tasted amazing, up there with some of the other restaurant offering this kind of food as the afghan charsi karahi is becoming a trend, finished off with the chai, overall a good dinning experience and food was good definitely worth a try.
Excellent food and good service.
The chapli kebabs and naan are tasty and fresh. The murgh malai was delicious, not to spicy.
The parata was also nice with choley with fried egg perfect breakfast.
Price is very reasonable
A very good place to enjoy a meal with your family members. Customer service was very effective and respectful 👍
