There may be campsites in Britain with a better view than this one, but I’m not aware of them. Wonderful location with fabulous view, good facilities for those of us in vans and tents, and the campsite/cafe team was very friendly and welcoming. We didn’t eat meals at the cafe, but it was fully booked the days we were there which is an excellent sign. But we did buy cakes on a couple of occasions which were totally lovely. Good for local walks, and for discovering local history - check out the story of Johnnie Notions and visit his grave. Jaw dropping view and lovely cakes. You need no more from a campsite.

This campsite was very clean and felt very safe. All of the guests were kind and friendly that stayed and everyone kept the spaces clean and tidy after use. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and made sure the camp facilities were in working order and if anything was ever out they’d replace it ASAP. Great condition of toilets, showers, laundry facilities, sink, and space for a kettle, microwave, and toaster. As we were campers without a vehicle, the locals were here are very willing to help by giving you a ride whilst hitchhiking and offer great hiking tips. The evenings were quiet and the views were excellent. I’d stay at this campsite again, rain or shine.

We had a lovely stay in this campsite in one of the wigwams. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We were meant to stay in our van but it broke down and instead we were able to stay in one of the wigwams. It saved our holidays, they even gave us a discount. The setting is lovely with gorgeous views and very close to beautiful coastal walks. The wigwam was comfy with a fridge, heater and a kettle. The cafe is beautiful with lovely food. Would highly recommend.

Nice place to stay. View is amazing. Cafe not open Mon-Tues but looks like they take coach tours on those days. Food excellent. Campsite facilities are quite good.

We had a lovely tomato soup and the staff was very kind. It also has a great view. I believe a local photographer sells his photographs there.

What a friendly place - we were made to feel so very welcome, even though they were busy getting ready for a film crew from the Shetland drama that was going to be filmed in that area over the next few days. Thank you to the young lady (Edinburgh student, musican and netball player and the gentleman working there, who really made our day.

Stayed at the camper area overnight and used the facilities - can't comment on the cafe as it was closed on the days we were there. Good setup if a little exposed, reasonable price and if the weather is good the views over the beach and stacks to the south are great.

Only in for a cuppa and snack. It would be unfair to rate the food as we only had a snack. Service was good. Atmosphere difficult to judge in our short stay at a very busy time.

Stayed here in our motorhome, good sized pitches, fantastic views, good sized shower room and and toilet ( which looked like they have not been cleaned for some days). And an easy wall down to the sea

It was shut as we went out of season, but the views are wonderful. Small hook-up site for camper vans and caravans

We camped at the park in our campervan and think it's the best place we've stayed so far in Shetland. Showers are great and three pitches have wonderful views over to the Drongs. The café was very pleasant and the staff were great (I don't just say that because I was referred to as "young man"!). We had lovely baked potatoes and cakes.

A small site with (approx a dozen) campervan spaces all water and electric included. The front pitches are £24/night, flatter and with a better view over the bay to the Drongs. Rear pitches are only £18/night. Camping field and 4 timber wigwam/large dog kennels available with fridge and sleeping for 4 (comfortable), maybe 6? On site cafe 10-5pm has freshly baked cakes daily, and good coffee. The camp site facilities are very good. Plentiful hot water, toilets, 3 large shower rooms, a kitchen area with a microwave, kettle, toaster and washing/drying machines. Well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff too. All good.

A fine place to stop off for a warming cup of coffee and a shortbread snack after a cliff walk at the lighthouse. Watch for the namesake Shetland ponies alongside the road.

We stopped by for cake and coffee, both of which were really good, and fairly priced.
