Ate here this past Sunday. Friendly and quick service. Food is made fresh to order so be prepared to wait a little bit, but just know the wait is worth it. The venison burger was delicious. I have heard great things about their fish and chips so we will be going back. Great place to eat at for sure. :)

Great cup of coffee, didn't eat any food as I just had my tea. Staff very friendly a great wee stop off for bikers and tourists. Would recommend!

Always my stop on my bike for some food. Stopped here a few weeks ago for a much needed burger and chips. Never disappointed with the food or friendly service and the views all ng the way to Braemar from Ballater.

This is a regular meeting point for a group of motorcyclist I ride with, the staff at Hungry Highlander are always more than willing to accommodate. We obviously let them know in advance of our intentions to meet so they have plenty stock. Great staff, excellent food, that's why we keep returning.

One of the best fish&chips shops. We tried haggis and chips, very fresh and tasty. Good price for good food.

Visited here when staying at a nearby camp site. Both had fish and chips and we agreed it was really nice and great value. Good portion sizes and good service. It was very busy when we went but food was still prepared quick and would definitely go back.

Can't fault the fish and chips at all, absolutely delicious. Batter was very tasty, as was the fish and peas. We would definitely go back.

I wandered in on a damp rainy evening looking for a good feed without much fuss and boy, was in for a treat. There's only one word to describe the fish and chips here and that's historic! Has to be the best fish and chips I've had in years. The place itself could benefit from a refurb to make it more appealing and better reflect the quality of the food served. If you're visiting Braemar, pop in, you won't regret it.

Top quality fish and chip shop with outside sitting area. Had the Haddock and chips. Huge fish and big portion of chips. Great choice of chippy food. Been here several times and thoroughly enjoyed the food each time. Long may it be here as we will definitely be back.

Great sport for a fast break. Mostly locally sourced ingredients for a great experience. Team is wonderful. A must visit place.

This is an amazing place to eat, there is often a couple of home made dishes on top of all the normal fish and chip shop stuff. Tonight we had both chilli and chicken curry freshly made which were fantastic. I also think the chips are the best I've every had. We regularly come here when we visit Braemar.

Great place, nothing fancy, but some of the best tasting fish & chips I've ever tasted. The best thing however, was the customer service! What a lovely friendly lady, who gave me loads of information about the local area, whilst cooking a large order from fresh in front of my eyes! It took no time, and she even knocked a pound off the price to save me having to break a £10 note!! The opening hours are 1600-2000 in the winter months and she told me she will open later in the summer. Google need to hurry up and update the hours shown here! Summary - cracking little fish & chip shop in a cracking little village!
