This is a great place for food and drinks. I've eaten here 5 times now and have loved the food each time. I had the fish cakes with chips and salad yesterday and they were delicious . They were the nicest fish cakes I've ever eaten.
Apart from the great food the staff are lovely and attentive. I had my 5 month old granddaughter with me and we were given a table with plenty room for her pram and even offered to warm up her bottle.
I would recommend the Station Inn to everyone and hope to be back there soon.
I've been here many times and the biggest problem I have is deciding what to choose from the menu as all food is delicious. The steak pie is a particular family favourite.
Went there on Monday night for my mum's birthday and, as always, staff were really nice and helpful, food was brilliant my mum had a lovely night. I would definitely recommend x
Went for lunch with husband. We both ordered BBQ brisket burger. It was huge!! Neither of us could finish our meal but it was fantastic. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Was in last Sunday for lunch food was great the place is spotless loved the decor and staff service was brilliant definitely recommend a visit.
I have visited this restaurant 3 times, each time trying something different, the food has been amazing every time and the staff are very kind and helpful. Would recommend 100% as it's my favourite place to eat out at���
Nothing fancy but good food and good portion sizes and friendly staff without daft prices.
Took my sister here for a birthday lunch today,and will definitely be back.(was my first time tho my sister had been before ) Food was lovely and staff were welcoming

First time back after long time closed. Good traditional food, friendly staff check your experience, reasonable value for money. Back to what we would expect.

Bare with them untill they are up and running. As when we were in for lunch a few things we tried to order wasn't available at the time as it hadn't come in from their supplier. But still what we got was lovely full of flavour and the staff are friendly polite and helpful also the food is lovely full of flavour and it was a nice atmosphere.
Was in today and glad to see it open again, food was lovely, only one suggestion, could an alternative chutney be offered with the pate as not everyone can eat chilli. Pate was beautiful but a wee red onion chutney or similar would have made it a 10/10. Also reasonably priced which helps and wish you all well for the future, will def be back
Stumbled across this gem on a Sunday drive...what a find! From the moment we walked through the door the staff were attentive and extremely helpful, talking us through the menu and specials and frequently returning throughout our visit to see if we required anything. Nothing seemed too much trouble.
I opted for 3 courses from the weekly specials menu, Bloody Mary Prawn Cocktail for starters, BBQ Pulled Beef Burger for mains and the Tablet and Raspberry Ripple Sundae for afters.
Wow! Presentation to die for! I’ve never experienced such flavour from a prawn cocktail before, Bloody Mary sauce added a total twist. Burger arrived following a perfect length pause after starters, again immaculately presented, so much flavour and chips cooked just the way I like them. Just enough room to squeeze in a desert, homemade tablet was outstanding combined with the raspberry ripple ice cream.
So glad we decided to stop by, we will be back!!!
Was in today (Saturday 21st October 2023), food was fantastic, atmosphere and service were on point. Couldn’t ask for more, will be back soon.

I booked here for my mum and I. She lives in the village and wanted to go when I was visiting. It had only been open 3 days and they were still finding their feet a little. The staff were all lovely and although there was a couple of order issues (not with us), they handled everything with a smile and without getting fluster.
The music when we sat down was thrash heavy metal, not the best to listen to on a Sunday 😂😂, but when I got to the counter to ask if they could change it, she had pressed a button and the music changed. We gave our order. I had the soup ….butternut squash I think, Mum had haggis and black pudding popcorn. Both very delicious. Our mains were steak and ale pie with roast potatoes (was told it would be mash but was not bothered) and veg, my mum had monkfish scampi which she said was delicious. The portion sizes were really good too. All the food was hot.
It would be good to see a Sunday roast option sometime in the future. We would happily return for a dinner or a lunch again.
Food was incredible and great portion sizes, you could tell it’s all been made fresh but despite being made fresh it was ready pretty fast, great when you have a fussy baby screaming for food. Can’t thank the staff enough for the bright friendly atmosphere
Went for dinner at the station inn but could only notice the perfectly painted fence whoever done that deserves a pay rise 10/10
Nice cozy pub/place to eat has good food nice polite staff and parking outside
