Our local pub and restaurant. We love it here. Staff are excellent, very friendly. The food is also very good and very reasonably priced.
If you want to use the bar regularly, then becoming a member is the way forward. Easy and not expensive.
Food was nice would say tho that mushroom starter was quite small compared to salmon and crab terrine. Although ordered three roasts the quantity of vegetable per person was minimal. Staff were lovely but overworked as we sat with empty plates for good 25 mins and waited 10 minutes to pay bill. Was nice surroundings but hasn't got the ambience of a country pub.
We have just experienced the best meal & service from eating out in a long time, Shelley was our waitress & she was absolutely outstanding, took our order by memory & there were no complaints at all plus she was very vigilant with the level of our drinks.
Highly recommend & if your waitress is Shelley your evening will be stress free.
Relaxed atmosphere with amazing food. Staff were friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to cater for vegan members of the family, couldn't do enough for us ! Lovely meal out.

Food was excellent & so was staff & service but disagree with 10% service charge if you want to tip you do so yourself i know you can say you don't want to give 10% but you feel bad for staff serving if you do
