JCH really was an unexpected delight after we’d been hiking around Whinlatter for the afternoon, as I wasn’t expecting to find any cafes catering to vegans close by. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. A real bonus that they were dog friendly too, so we didn’t have to sit outside. High
I feel a little guilty giving only 4 stars as the staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. However, the sausage roll was not great - a little dried out with tough pastry. The barrista put a lot of effort into the coffee, but the roast was not great. The chiller cabinets make a loud and on-the
A cracking little cafe that is welcoming. Food was great and so was the coffee. I woul recommend 100% to anyone. The only down side is that it's small so not many tables so need to get there quickly to get in.
Average. Pleasant staff, strange “no swapping” rule for full english breakfasts, so instead you pay to add items and end up wasting the food you would’ve swapped. The sausage tasted like it’d been sat on a hot plate for a while, as did the bacon. Eggs were nice, tomatos didn’t taste fully cooked. I
Lovely small cafe located close to campsite. We dined in with breakfast sandwiches. Friendly service from staff and food and drinks were delicious. Pastries and cakes also looked delicious.
This is a lovely coffee shop with inside and outside seating. The coffee is of an extremely high quality and the tray bake cakes are a must. The ladies serving were friendly and polite. If you look at the photo you can see from the boards that they also serve - waffles, hot and cold sandwiches, pann
Really love cafe, great selection of lunches and sweet treats and lots of hot & cold drinks to choose from! Actually quite a lot of seating considering the smaller plot of land.
Lovely cakes and great coffee. What was needed after a long walk. And a big thank you too for rescuing my husband's cycling gloves!
Why wife and I had an awesome time at Jaspers Coffee House when we visited there yesterday. - The coffee was on point 👌🏾☕️ - The staff was very friendly and personable - And the food was fantastic 🧁 It’s a perfect pit stop as you make your way through the beautiful Lake District! 😊
We had the Full English breakfast before heading for home after a great week spent at the Caravan and Camping Club site which is right opposite. Lovely place , newly decorated. Although menu says what is included in Fell English , it was no trouble to add or remove something and all freshly cooked.
Possibly the best bacon and sausage roll I've had in the last decade or two. Cumberland sausage and good bacon crammed into a crispy (but not too crispy) roll. Hot, not grease-laden, and delicious. Thoroughly recommended.
Dogs are always made to feel very welcome. Great place to stop after a Whinlatter hike!
Lovely little coffee shop. Great hot chocolate and dog-friendly
It's a great little cafe, the staff are friendly, the place is clean and the full English breakfast is excellent 👌
Great cafe in Braithwate, worth the trip out of Keswick Cyclists and dogs allowed ( 😉)
Had a gluten free BLT. It came with a lovely side salad and crisps. Lovely coffee. Polite helpful staff. Very clean
An absolute gem of a coffee shop. We enjoyed coffee and cakes - served by friendly staff - on a very wet morning. Very dog-friendly, with water bowls and treats, and plenty of room for canines to stretch out. The staff made a great fuss of our Springer Spaniel, and his tail didn't stop wagging durin
Lovely cake and coffee ☕ ☕well needed after being out in the 🌧️😅nice staff!!
I have been to Jasper’s several times and it is excellent. Yesterday I had the Sausage, Bacon and Egg sandwich. The bacon was really good, the egg was perfect and they put a full Cumberland ring in too. Absolutely delicious. They also do a good pot of tea and the service is lovely.
