We arrived without a booking about 6:30pm and it was quiet. Stayed until about 8pm when it was busy. Poppadoms and chutney, 2 curries rice and peshwari naan, coffee came to Ā£57 including tip. Service and food was excellent.
A fantastic place to eat! Wonderful service, lovely clean restaurant and excellent food. Tastiest Indian I have ever eaten. Would definitely recommend for either a takeaway, or a sit-down meal. Ash (our server) was so very kind, helpful and always had a smile.

Went here for a last minute birthday meal and the staff were very accommodating and attentive. The food was delicious and I highly recommend saving room for the coconut supreme ice cream (out of this world!)

I was staying in Steyning for two nights and stumbled upon this restaurant. I am so glad we went there - The food here is absolutely delicious - I would highly recommend the almashriqui chicken. The food came out piping hot and the service was top notch. There was also lovely music in the background
Great food and service. Atmosphere is a bit lacking and the building could use a bit of love
Always loved coming here for an Indian meal. Not the cheapest, but as always you pay your money and take your choice.
Some of the best Indian food my wife and l have eaten.
Friendly and professional staff and great food. The Madras is a winner. You will surely enjoy your visit
Really friendly and helpful staff. The food was excellent in both flavour and presentation a big plus was that it was served at a nice relaxed pace allowing us to enjoy a leisurely meal. Will be back when next in the village
Seriously. It was beyond amazing. The garlic lamb tikka made us cry from joy.
Very helpful...nice food comfy booth....
Visited Saturday night. Accidentally strolled into the kitchen instead of the toilets. Chef invited me to stop and watch them work. I can honestly say that the kitchen was spotless, staff were doing everything right regards cleanliness etc. Meals we had were as good as I've eaten in any restaurant.
Probably the best curry I have had for a long time, friendly staff. I been to some good restaurants this high on the list for a re-visit. Its a Must visit!
Just had a take away from here with a few different mains and sides along with rice. The food was great. Very yummy. They where able to have it ready for us at the time we requested to pick it up. Only small bad but was the poppadoms where not as good as other take aways we use. Prices are a little
