Came here for lunch a while back and it was fantastic. My friend and I were blown away by the quality of the food and is a great place to stop if you are in the area.

I often say you can't recommend somewhere any more than to keep going back. And we go back to Me Browns everytime we are in the area.

Absolutely brilliant service! We were visiting Slaggyford and dropped in to Brampton for the afternoon. I suffer with a lactose allergy and asked if they had lacto free cheese. They didn't but they would not accept that I just have beans with my jacket potato. The chef sent out someone to get lacto

Great food . I recommend the scrambled eggs on toast. Made with cream I believe. Put some black pepper on , and tuck in. With a great coffee.

After an afternoon of walking at Lanercost, this was a welcome break for some cake and a drink as the cafe at Lanercost priory was close...
From the outside this place looks like nothing, but there is plenty of seating and exceptional food and coffee.
Delicious cakes and pastries for afternoon tea but not a huge fan of the sandwiches
Stopped here on my cycle ride and had the cream tea. Can I say this is the best cream tea I've had and I cycle all over the UK. Tasted great and at a good price.
