Mondragone Ristorante E Pizzeria

First time this weekend and loved it. I don't like mushrooms and I tried the mushroom starter that my partner convinced me to try and I loved it. We also had pasta and it was all good, my baby daughter even ate more than she usually does. The staff was extremely friendly and I highly recommend a visit. I also recommend the Spritz Drink, it was something I had while on holidays in Italy and it was so good it took me back.

Food fab but in an almost empty lunch time restaurant my friend & i were placed right next to the only other group there. Both tables almost out of sight of the bar/till area, tucked around a corner away from any window & under music speakers. Ultra clean, staff friendly but where we were was lacking atmosphere, and couldn't even people watch on the square.

Absolutely stellar service and food! The atmosphere is welcoming and the servers were very accommodating to our son who has celiac disease (gluten free diet). We arrived with a party of seven without a booking, and they were able to seat us in less five minutes. The starters arrived promptly, and the kids' meals were brought out early too, which was a big plus. The main course was brought out in 20-30 minutes and we'll worth the wait (especially the swordfish)! After the main, we moved on to some fantastic gelato for the kids, and I had an absolutely divine peanut butter and caramel coated chocolate cake. Highly recommended! We will be returning many times for the best Italian you can find in Suffolk!

Honestly, just the best. Patricia was just divine with the level of service she gave. We came with 4 adults and 3 children without a reservation and they squeezed us in with finesse and kindness. Wonderful food. All of it. We are here again with a reservation this time and same party. They are just as wonderful this time as before.
