The Back Porch Route 471

Definitely a 10/10 experience. If you don't like a little loud and rowdy experience, then The Back Porch might not be for you. Go check out the front porch down the street. I was very happy that I chose here amongst the other 25 crawfish locations in Jackson, disregarding the small amount of reviews The Back Porch has. The staff was polite and lively. Loved the live music as well As for the food, I'd give the craw a 9 out of 10, but was not falling short on anything! Size and spice was all on point. I cannot believe how good the crab and shrimp was too, but I could be biased because I haven't had much crab in my time. Definitely worth trying! If you're looking for cheap, The Back Porch is not the low cost leader but they don't rip you off on the quality. Their sausage side is surprisingly good (P.s. the random young girl with braces that showed me where the bathroom was but accidentally said left instead of right and then over corrected herself needs a raise! Such a sweetheart!)

Hidden gem. Not even going to post the pictures I got🤫 They're amazing, great customer service, hesitant to let non locals into their hideout. I LOVE it! They let me pickup some crawfish while road tripping. You could tell they're a bit weary of non locals, i really appreciate the kindness and treating me like a local. Ill be back soon! Love y'all! Thanks for making my dad's birthday great! I road tripped another 5 hours with those crawfish!

For a first time visit it couldn't have been better. The staff was very attentive and kind they apologized for the wait but in reality it's a smart place and it takes time with the amount of people that were there. They had a live acoustic show playing great music. Just a really fun hang out to grab food with friends and listen to music.

We have been going to this place for a couple years now as our "dare night" when we don't have the kiddos. Even through Covid this place has never let us down. They have the friendliest staff and ownership, and they have great live music on weekend nights. Beat crab legs and shrimp around. We love this place.
