First night hiring out a narrow boat and we made it to Braunston! Arrived late and was quite hungry so decided to go to the Boat House as it was closest and had good reviews! Really friendly staff and the food was tasty however cleanliness was a bit lacking and the food is definitely overpriced!
Friendly, welcoming staff. My husband's Hunters Chicken was a bit dry. Once it was pointed out, they willingly and quickly replaced the whole meal, which was 100% better. Delicious and piping hot. My meal was very nice. We would definitely eat there again.

The pub was lovely. The food was excellent. We were on a Narrowboating holiday and this was our final nights stop. The garden was quiet and we had a really good meal. Great vegetarian options and a good selection of drink. Would definitely recommend the Boat House to people.
I tried to roast for the first time and it was lovely. The woman serving the food was really nice. When we arrived we were seated quickly. Easy to book, quick service and good quality food. It made a nice change to go out for a meal with attentive staff which hasn't always been the case at the Boat House. Always had good food here but now the service on out visit matched up too. Well done and keep it up!
