Fantastic! The food was great, and Dewi was super kind and friendly to us, explaining the “lord of the rings” style map of Brecon Beacons, and recommending some hikes. We’d definitely go back

Lovely place in the middle of Brecon, service was very friendly and the meals were well portioned and tasted great. The quality of the food is of a high standard. The duck was a well prepared sous vide dish with well a well flavoured jus. Signs of a a very good quality chef. Will be returning

Great evening out, great spot. Friendly service, food outstanding! From exotic (Kangaroo) to traditional Italian and Welsh produce. Owner is warm and welcoming, nice range of wines.

Was a bit unsure to start only because decor could do with updating. However, all the staff were great, nothing was to much trouble. Also the food was excellent, we all thoroughly enjoyed what we had. Also we were never rushed or hassled, spent a couple of hours there at our own leisure. Definitely recommend it.

Had a fantastic meal, started with a sharing platter which had the most amazing bread with it. I had Duck cooked to perfection my partner enjoyed Lasagne. All served by well dressed attentive staff while we were being entertained by John Eyre who was singing songs and playing music from across the decades. All in all a great evening.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Delicious food, amazing staff and charming setting/vibe. We are visiting from the US, and Dewi the owner, gave us lots of wonderful recommendations of trails, towns and must sees while we are here. Him and his staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We spent a long time talking to them and truly enjoyed every second. We will be back! Thanks! :)

Food was outstanding, the choices are really different and encouraged some on our table to try something new, everyone loved their food. David was very warm, welcoming and helpful. Wine and beer choices were also enjoyed by everyone. For me it was the best carbonara I've ever had. I also loved the young serving staff as this gives back to the community and creates job opportunities. Thank you, we loved it.

What a fabulous place we found today. The chef/ owner was so proud, enthusiastic and passionate with his love of cooking and fabulous recommendations. With every right to I must agree! What a lovely gent making you feel so relaxed. walking in as strangers to leaving like friends ,even introducing us to his friend of many years. We had a wonderful evening much due to food (seabass was generous and delicious) but also due to the very welcoming Ioan who is an absolute credit to the business. Every customer facing business needs a Ioan.
