Such a good country pub! So glad some places like this still retain their character and don’t over-modernise. Really friendly staff and great selection of drinks. The apple pie cider is especially good. Can’t recommend this place enough, stop by, you won’t be disappointed. Just wish I lived closer.
We came for Sunday lunch at this great quirky old pub that does lovely food and has a vibrant and friendly atmosphere. A selection of ales, many local, that are second to none and local ciders plus the usual range of other drinks you'd expect. We don't like our food piled high and found the portion
Characterful and friendly pub with proper beer! We popped in after a walk but will be back for food.
Fabulous outdoor space with tons of sheltered seating. Great menu with pub classics done well and a few more adventurous options too. Beer selection is top notch with a thoughtfully curated range of local and guest beers. One of the best pubs for miles and miles.

Great atmosphere inside & plenty of parking outside in carpark & overflow carpark. Service was pretty good

A nice country pub with a lovely big beer garden surrounded by tall trees. Beautiful. Service was great, good selection of local beer and cider, as well as the food being fairly decent. Prices are fair considering the state of things, but one gripe was the inside of the pub was a bit tatty L. Adds c
