Peter's Sushi-thai

I've been here twice, and so far the food has been amazing both times! I've had the Fried Rice, the Fujiyama Shrimp, and different sushi rolls. All superb. You could go there for dinner and only get sushi. Thai, Japanese, there are so many things I can't wait to try on their menu. The sushi is all really good too! Also neat that it is run by a husband & wife team. Friendly and good service as well. I would highly recommend Peter's Sushi!!

I come here often because they offer delicious sushi as well as good egg rolls. I usually indulge on the different types of curry they have. But beware your spice level as it can be very hot (the server will warn you if you choose lever 3 lol) Service is always good and fast. Everytime i have some to take home as they are pretty big portions

First time visiting. I ordered pad Thai with chicken. Good portion size, but overall not much flavor. I did ask for spicy though I don't know that he recorded that because it had no spice or much flavor overall. The egg roll that came with it was one of the best. Service felt rushed and impersonal. He didn't chat with me, but he spent time chatting with the next customer who maybe seemed more of a regular. Gotta be nice to everyone to make loyal customers 😉

My wife and I recently visited Peter's Sushi and Thai on a whim with no prior knowledge or experience of the restaurant. We were seated quickly in a clean dining room. We placed our order and I may only say that the food was well beyond our expectation. I had the Pad Thai and I can honestly say that I have never had a better manifestation of the dish. My wife had the Tom Yum soup and she was over the moon about how good it was. When we visit Nashville again you can bet that we are going to Peter's Sushi and Thai.

Overall we had a good experience! The service was great, very friendly people. Our food came out quickly. The sushi (salmon roll and salmon nigiri) was good for Nashville, hope to try a special roll the next time. I ordered the pad see ew - it was ok for a Thai entree. I ordered a level 3 spice, which was one below “Thai hot”, and it was not very spicy at all. So I recommend getting a level 4 if you like it spicy! Good presentation. Clean restaurant. Always busy! Hoping to come back again soon to try different meals to hopefully change this from four stars to five stars! ☺️

Easily the best sushi around! The restaurant is clean and I would consider it a step or two above casual but definitely not too fancy to where you cannot show up in sweatpants haha! The food (both sushi and other dishes) are amazing and delicious and everything is plated beautifully. The staff is very kind and always welcome you with a smile! Disclaimer: it’s not uncommon for them to have a wait but they have a nice waiting area along with a paper list to write your name on. Everything else is wonderful but I will say that it’s on the pricier side (it’s sushi though so that’s to be expected)!

The restaurant was busy on Sunday late afternoon, and it seemed like there was only 1 waitress. That being said, we expected slow service and were prepared for that. But we were simply ignored for about 20 to 30 min. We had to flag her down to get drinks, then appetizers, then to hand her our sushi and entree orders. After we were there for a couple of hours and still hadn't gotten our main course, we finally just got the check. She never put in the order for our entrees. It wasn't just slow service, it was bad service. The food (well from the small bit we did receive) was good. But not at all worth dealing with the poor service or long wait times. I don't know if this is the norm, and I understand restaurants are largely understaffed, but this was an extremely bad experience.

Huge fan of Peter's. Have come with family for many, many years. Consistently excellent sushi. Occasionally I indulge in fish cheeks or other items, and my kids love the pad thai. Peter's was great through the pandemic, when so many of my favorites really lost the ability to be consistent and provide nice service. We like to think our regular orders helped keep one of our biggest go-tos in business, though they seemed to keep plenty of other steady clientele. Cheers to Peter's!
