Waffle House

I've been to a lot of Waffle Houses, and this experience was really good. First, this Waffle House is bigger than most I've been to. There were quite a few cars in the lot, so I thought there wouldn't be a table available, but there was. Not only was it bigger, there was more staff than normal. And they were super friendly. The food was really good. And it was all prepared quickly even though they were busy. Overall, a great Waffle House experience!

We were there one of the nights of the Garth Brooks concerts. After 11:00 p.m. The place was packed. Standing room with a couple of tables that needed to be bust off and two Cooks and a couple of servers. We sat down, waiting for the table to be cleared, about 15 minutes later. Then waited another 15 minutes for the server to come back and take a order. Then our order came pretty quickly. But the entertainment of people watching with phenomenal! 98% of the people were patient and waiting for service, standing in line to pay for their food, waiting on their food, waiting to be waited on. There were happy people, there were sad people, and they were drunk people. And the servers handled everyone with respect and apologies for taking so long, but took care of everyone that was patient enough to wait around. It was an experience worth doing again!

The food was cooked too fast. One waffle was burnt and the other was not done all the way. The hash browns was only cooked on the top and bottom. The sausages were burnt and dried out. Thr bacon was over cooked. The only thing was pleasant is the waitress. We tried to engage in conversation with the cook but he ignored us.

I just went to waffle house at 11pm after working 16 hours and didn't even get acknowledged I sat there for literally 35 mins. There was 3 table with customers, the dude working just brushed me off and I left hungry I will never be back to this waffle house again, worst experience of my life I suggest others that are hungry and have money go somewhere else
