The fried chicken sandwich is so good! Love the okra and fried green tomatoes with fruit tea too. Great place for some southern cooking.

Had the turkey and dressing lunch special. Mixed bag. Turkey was the processed kind, not off a bird. Cornbread was hard, but tasty. Green beans were too salty. Good fried okra. Good mashed potatoes. Good deserts. Good service. A little pricey for lunch...$40 including tip.

I took a friend there for lunch during the work week. We were immediately greeted and seated next to a window. I had the salmon and my friend had a salad. Both were very tasty and the salmon was cooked to perfection. My water glass was never empty and the rest of the service was great! I highly recommend. This restaurant has potential... We weren’t greeted upon entering and had to find a waitress to seat us. Our waitress was really good, but the owners didn’t smile and neither did the other waitress on staff. The female owner was wearing a T-shirt that read, “Let’s Stay Home.” I think that T-shirt expressed her true feelings.
Today is Sunday, and they offer buffet style with a lot of options, an omelette bar, and choice of pancake or slice of French toast. the portions were large and the food was basic, no surprises.
This restaurant could achieve 5-stars is the staff enjoyed their work.

Save your money and go to Cracker Barrel if you just have to have Southern food! I had chicken and mac n cheese. The mac n cheese and potatoes tasted like something you would get out of the box. I got halfway through the chicken and realized it wasn't cooked all the way. If I knew how bad the food would be, I would've brought my lunch for work because that was terrible! Also, the prices are laughable! $15+ for food that was made by someone who can't really cook. Instead of complaining, I just paid and left.
I gave two stars because the servers were really nice and the parking was good!

The restaurant is very dirty (dust & dirt caked to the walls with grease). I ordered chicken & dumplins (which was about 3 very thin dumplins some shreds of chicken & a bowl full of liquid). I also ordered mashed potatoes which might not have been too bad if they would have been hot (ice cold)... My husband asked for no cheese on his sandwich (due yo his issues with dairy)...they brought out his sandwich with 2 kinds of cheese on it). Wouldn't recommend & we won't be back.

We recently were looking for a new breakfast spot and remembered seeing Vittles has a weekend buffet. We stopped by on a Saturday about 30 minutes before it was over. We were very pleased with the food. The omelet bar was so good and there was plenty of everything left. The bacon was very good along with the biscuits and gravy! The price point and service were spot on. Our new go-to spot on the weekends!

OMG I can't say enough good. They came to my job this morning for breakfast until our new people come permanently. I think Vittles should be our new food people permanently. I had an Omelette with cheese, onions, bell peppers and spinach, bacon and watermelon, they did an amazing job and the guy was incredibly nice. I can't wait to bring my family to eat there one day.
