Having requested the food to be here between a certain time, it arrived 10 - 20 earlier than requested. I called the restaurant and they rectified this with delivering new food at the time requested. Appreciate them sorting this out with no problem. Thoroughly enjoyable cod and chips which was fresh and tasty. Thank you. Will definitely be ordering from you again.
Best fish n chips I have ever tasted. We visit every Friday staff so very friendly fish & chips always so nice we tell all our friends & family to visit.

Haddock was a bit watery, cod was nice, chips were nice. Would have preferred a crusty roll rather than a bap
Table was a bit sticky’s and there were a quiet a few flies floating around ,a little off putting.
The fish and chips are one of the best around, always hot and most times freshly cooked. I can recommend their food and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.
Fantastic gluten free rock in batter with chips. Tartare sauce too, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Even swapped the vinegar for a gluten free one.
This is the best fish and Chips in Brentwood… I highly recommend it

I got told to never walk down alleyways at night but I prefer convenience and a gentleman who works there walked out and asked me if I want food. Hell yeah I do cause my credit card got blocked when someone transferred me £700! They gave me free food and lots of it tonight as they are closed the next day which is Halloween. I've ordered deliveroos from here a few times as well.
I gave some to my mate (neighbor) and her kid cause too tired to eat 15 sausages and all the other stuffs and the only thing I wasn't given was fish lols. Thank you!

My first time coming in here I've been meaning to come here it looked a nice fish n chip shop I'm pleased they do fish fingers on the menu the food was cooked fresh and looks nice and clean inside l come here again

Freshly cooked superb fish and chips every time. New owner and his (step) daughter are brilliant. Food is awesome and service is outstanding. Best chippy in the area!!!

Had a craving for fish and chips and popped down. It's on Brentwood high street and there is parking outside for 30 mins.
The inside has decent space, a few tables and appears very clean.
I can't comment much on environment because I ordered food for takeaway. There was a table of three elderly ladies (pensioner age).
If the you have a table of Brit grandmas in a Fish and Chip shop, you know there's a high chance it will be good...
I didn't ask if the store is under new ownership but I think it might be as the chap behind the counter was more sociable and warm then the couple who were there during the pandemic - maybe I caught them on a bad day.
Anyway, I ordered 2x small cod and chips and the food was fantastic. It cost about £10 per person.
Often Fish and Chips is really to serve a craving and the food is over greasy and disappointing, after eating you get this guilty hollow feeling. This wasn't the case here. The fish was tasty, a decent size and didn't smell. The chips had great texture and was not oil soaked.
Even my partner who hates greasy food enjoyed her lunch.
Btw, the home made tartare sauce was probably the best I have tried! Definitely a repeat visit.
Amazing service outstanding food. Family run and you feel part of the family when you go! Welcomed into their home kitchen. They put their hart into what they do and it showes! Will not go anywhere else! 😍 Will recommend to everyone!!! As long as you stay away from the cod bites! They are all mine !!! Sooo good!!!! I'll see you next week🤣
