The Olde Dog Inn - Brentwood - Photo album

Lovely traditional old pub with large outdoor seating area - at the front and at the back in the garden. Nice selection of beers, delicious food from set menu or daily specials. Kids friendly with outdoor play area. Highly recommend
Quaint old English pub including low beams. Lovely atmosphere, a big play space for the children. Good selection of beers, I didn't have any food, but the menu looked good.
We can't recommend this pub enough. We visited twice in the past month, once with our young family - they had a great play area with alot of variety for the children, good variety of meals and so hospitable when we asked for things like a glass of ice (hot weather and grumpy toddler) The second was
Fabulous experience, food was delicious. Two of us had a Brie & Cranberry Ciabatta and one had a Sausage Sandwich, all the filling were really plentiful and served with chips or salad. The host Luke was helpful and very friendly….. a great publican
Absolutely incredible Sunday roast, wonderful atmosphere, cannot recommend enough! Definitely will be coming back and recommending to friends!
Good food lovely huge garden with playground, dog friendly. Staff very pleasant and attentive Will definitely be back
Good food! Lovely old pub on a fairly quiet country route. 👌🏻 I'm upgrading my previous review due to today's visit on 22/09/2021 midday afternoon booking. Fantastically helpful staff serving really good tasty tucker in a great tidy little old pub. (Toilets very clean👍) Plenty of parking too. The
Soul DJ's in the garden were fantastic, kept me moving all afternoon. Sunday roast (had the beef) was really tasty, I don't usually have a roast out as you can't beat a home cooked but this was a lovely 2nd best.
We stumbled across this gem of a pub in Brentwood while driving around in Essex on a Sunday. Olde Dog Inn did not disappoint us at all with delicious food, a great selection of beer, wine & cocktails and to top it all a beautiful beer garden to soak in some spring sunshine!
Did not book, but was able to get a table inside and order food. The staff were rushed off their feet, but so helpful and attentive. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Lovely old building and a huge outdoor area.
Great country pub, good selection of beers and wines. Although not eaten here, the food always looks fantastic.
Ideal stop on our cycle ride. Sat in the garden with the bikes and enjoyed two tasty pies of the day. Friendly staff and swift service. Peaceful setting out of town, beautiful old building with traditional low beams and cosy corners. Surprisingly busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Mind your head on the
Quite a nice country pub, good selection of beer and food. Car park and garden a bit austere and, with the view, could be made to look a bit more welcoming for those sitting outside.
We had a lovely meal yesterday and the staff were friendly and welcoming. However the non dairy milk option was soya which isn't very nice in hot drinks. An oat milk is much nicer so maybe having a carton in would be a good idea.
Stopped here for a drink, prices and service good. Seating inside and out. Although we didn't eat the food that we saw being served looked and smelt good
We love the Olde Dog, its a great old fashioned pub with good food, nice hospitality, and they take cash of course, much better than the one down the road the Boars Head, they refuse to take cash anymore, disgusting!!
Great really old pub. Waitress was delightful. Food hot and excellent.
Nicely done food, very affordable, nice environment, great service. All good :-)
